Shawn Blore #235

Good player Blore but Sam Fainu is the superior talent on the left edge.
This is one of the problems with this club. We find a good player, and this somehow cancels out losing another good player.

We're losing Tupou and replacing him with Turuva. Maybe we'll win out of that, but we'll still have Staines or some junior before he's ready on the wing.

So far next year:
Outside backs - net equal
Spine +++ with addition of Luai
Forwards -- loss of Ice and probably Stef

Something Wayne Bennett said:
You can loose anyone in a side. As long as you are upgrading.

Yes I would have liked to keep Tupou.
I am really excited that we have Luai as he is already combining with Turuva and has with Staines (and Naden, but I think he is leaving us) previously.

Tupou is Decent and a first grader. I wouldn't say he is a top shelf winger though.
Ice at Parra was a top shelf forward, ok here. Stef too, I would put him in a "good, not (yet) great" category.

We need to replace the forward pack badly. I know RCG and Saififi are on the market, Neither would be an upgrade on who we have lost.

Must have had no recovery or training on the Monday to be still on the squirt after 2am….silly buggers.
Probably was told that it was ok to stay in Sydney .. as he was being rested for the following game against the Cows .. ??

The problem is with players leaving the WT and doing so well, word gets around when current WT players enquire how life is beyond the WT. I am sure Stefano and Blore would have had the odd chat. I don’t think many players would have regretted leaving WT recently. Maybe Woods.

He has been solid but don't see anything other than consistency - due to lack of injury - in his game that stands out from anything he showed here. It's obvious where the impetus comes from in that squad and as long as the forwards dont make errors and do keep their work rate up they reap the rewards.
Stef must be busting to get there.
