Shawn Blore #235

I gave heard he wants to go elsewhere. I can remember a comment on here some time ago around that and the general reaction was that was a a bit disloyal after all the support with his injuries. Having said that WT might as well make use of other clubs interest in him to free up a spot and maybe, just maybe take another with him eg Nofo who has already had a taste of Melbourne that he apparently loved. If we can get 2 off our full books for a back coming in where we are weak that's good isn't it?

My source tells me he's been wanting to leave for months
I’m assuming Melbourne would be offering him the starting back row spot in from of Loliero.
So you would assume we would have to also be giving him a starting spot to be any chance of keeping him.

We have 3 middle forwards joining our nrl squad in 25 - Sukkar, Kit and Faagatu and the only off contract middle forward at the end of 24 are Blore and Sione Fainu. Never any doubt Blore isn't staying long term.

I’d say he is more likely to replace Tariq Sims and Matt Eisenhuth. Next back rower for Melbourne will be Jack Howarth

Melbourne have Warbrick, Coates, Meaney, Jennings, Smith and possibly Faalongo and Anderson as wing options. There is no way we can convince them to take Nofoaluma.

Pretty sure Jennings has been released.... Grant off contract.
Smith is a Centre there,

Shortens up your list some.
Sorry, didn't know Jennings was released.
Smith finished the season on the wing and whilst i know Anderson is off contract last I heard he is likely to stay with Storm's QCup side.
Also don't know what is happening with Iremia and Kane Bradley has another year with them. He is listed as a wing in their squad list but filled in a few spots.
Though Nofa is better than these two.

Plus who knows what other rookies they might be looking to bring through.
