I actually think emotional intelligence is the major thing holding Luke Brooks back. When the pressure is applied he goes to water. Dropping that kick off costing us a chance of victory against the Cows at Leichhardt is a prime example. Ben Hunt is similar for mine but he seems to be starting to improve in that area based on origin the last couple of occasions.

If I were Madge I'd be imploring Brooks to start having regular sessions with a sports psychologist

Well, shop Brooks around if he cant handle Madge's playing style...

Madge just wants him to RUN the ball..

but I am kind of thing he might also want him to put bombs up every 5th tackle.

Know Brooks isn't exactly popular but cmon Madge's style of play is honestly the most boring, bland and uninspiring brand of footy.
I'd rather poke my eyes out than endure another year of it.
Almost everyone needs to raise their game really.

To be fair to Madge, if the team couldn’t play that game, what hope do you think they would have had, if they got something more technical?

IMO, it’s only boring, bland and uninspiring if we are losing.

Madge can't win Bathurst in a Datsun 180b. You run a very basic plan and hope for the best.

If we have players that bend the line and have heaps of go forward,Hastings and Brooks should be able to dominate the games to how Madges game plans are structured....
To be honest last year,how many times did Madge say we "lost because the boys fell away from the gameplan"what we did in training leading up to the game was lost out there tonight....How many times did we hear that...this team should be pretty good together IF THEY ALL DO THEIR JOB and stick to the gameplans and structures that they practice....Its a team game.not a one man band....

Our strike rate when in the opposing teams 25 was pretty good. Getting there was the problem especially against quality teams

I thought going from memory... As well as stat's... showed it was the opposite..clear memory of us bumbling ng around in their 20, side to side often with no result

Our forwards get ragdolled, slow play the balls on tackles one and two, other team creeps offside, panic sets in, Brooksy goes the settler to Twal on the fourth. Predictable cross field kick or grubber into legs on last. Need more punch and players with x-factor.
