Sheens happy with Tigers fullback

Galloway and Ayshford are no chance for origin, and Rowdy won't make it either playing like he did last week,Ayshford is lucky he is still in 1st grade after last week, and KG will probably becoming back from injury or injured again by origin time.

Exactly, though I think Lawrence will definitely be picked if fit.

Ayshford is no chance at all, Galloway would be at very long odds now that he is injured and Farah is persona non grata for NSW, so forget it.

We will only be missing one player, so that is good news during Origin time.

I'd like to see Simona given a crack at some stage. He's a good young player and a good guy as well

It honestly wouldn't suprise me to see Sheens trial young Sironen at fullback mid year.

Simona could also be looked at as he has the skill set

Simona would be dangerous - from the limited chances i've seen him have attacking from left centre, If we could give the guy some space he'd be hard to bring down.

Pretty solid in defence as well

Didn't David nofoaluma keep tedesco out of the fullback spot for Australian schoolboys? Could he be a dark horse later in the year if humble isn't cutting it?

I'd think seriously about Lote at FB when he comes back. Would not disrupt the team long-term since Tedesco will come back in 2013 when Lote is pursuing other interests. It would be one of the less disruptive solutions to the problem and allow Utai and Ryan to stay at wing.

I can't see Lote making the transition from wing to fullback a successful one ,i'm not so sure Lote is capable of being able to read a game from the back.Fullbacks need to talk alot as well and position his players in defence." plug the holes so to speak. He has too many mistakes in his game and not comfortable under a high ball. hey ,it might be worth a shot i could be wrong. but for now i'd rather see him make his mistakes on the wing rather than at the back..

Fullback is a specialist position, you can't just pick anyone to have a crack , how well did Moltz do there last year ? {terrible}but the problem now is we don't have a specialist fullback and haven't since hodgo left us .Not sure if Humble is a specialist fullback but from what i saw of him last week ,well i guess he went ok..Remember guys the number 1-7-9 need to specialists in their position..Here is an example of what i mean.. 1=Slater..7=Cronk..9=Smith..

Until about 2 minutes from the end of our last game last year I'd say Lote could fill in , but now…..?
Usually he is as safe as any player but I'm not sure if these arm/wrist injuries have affected his catching.
Even before that fateful drop against the Warriors his hands had been letting him down.
He is a class act though - if he's fully fit he could easily handle it (even Beau had a good go at it)

He was pretty lousy at the tail end of 2011 but the injuries were causing him problems. Unless he had his confidence back I'd not have him anywhere on the team…

Sheens will never pick Lote at fullback
