Sheens has lost it, what next?

We went into the season with no recognized fullback, two green props and a wannabe halfback. Now we don't use our 20s hooker but Fulton.
He lets Folkes go when he toughened us up, making the top 4 two years in a row.
Simmons also gets cut from St Helen's this week, understudy to Sheens, learned nothing from the master.
Upsets the magpie side of the merger by putting all the good players in the BRET team. Wow their a gun side now.
Now we hear the fans will play a role in Willie Masons future.
I don't even want to think of what will happen if Benji got injured. Sheens had lost it.

You criticise him for playing 2 young props, but then you say its a mistake to not play an even younger hooker alongside them in the area we were most dominated last game? And since when did Sheens decide to let Folkes go, or have the power to release ANY coach from there contract for that matter. I think its a tad early in the season for a thread like this

Mate don't be nervous to call it how you see it. He's been stubborn for as long as i can remember. Got to be careful when criticising him on here, a lot of people get offended if you insult the 'master coach'

He MUST, I repeat MUST get more involved this week, otherwise he'll be upsetting countless forumers. And you just don't want to be doing that if you know whats good for you. If he doesnt score 5 trys, tell Benji to get stuffed everytime he calls for the ball so that Moltzen can show us "what hes made of", kick at least 4 40/20's and put every forward through atleast 4 holes then so help me god i wont rest untill hes not only gone from the tigers but ill send an email to every other club in the league to make sure no one signs him!!! that'll show a player finding there feet not to take more than 1 game

Finding his feet? isn't this the same halfback who we had an undefeated streak with? now that people don't have that excuse to fall back on, he's just 'finding his feet' lol

Sorry my mistake, he only had a full knee reco then spent last year playing centre then fullback, i shouldve known he would set the world on fire straight away at 7

But this was the guy who we were undefeated at halfback with Dermo. One would think he would have just slid right in the way some people talked about him 😕

And 'finding his feet' or not, its a little hard to make excuses when he won't even touch the ball. No one is expecting miracles from the guy, but it wouldn't hurt your halfback getting his hands on the ball every now and then. Its just a suggestion

I'm not bagging our young props, we let experienced props go. Hooker is a specialist position, replace with another hooker, not a makeshift one. And Sheens could have kept Folkes if the deal was right, he chose not to. And in our case the coach has all the power in the world. Hope that clears it all up.

Some of you blokes need to get your head together. We have arguably the best squad on paper in the competition. We did go in with a recognised fullback, probably a fantastic one as well in Tedesco. There is nothing wrong with how we have assembled and put together our squad, it is by and large a very classy one. GO have a look at Parramatta or the Roosters roster, then see if you want to whinge about holes in the squad.

Unfortunetly we are just up to or old tricks re starting the season out of shape. Alot of our blokes had very limited pre seasons coming back in Mid January and with the style of footy we play it always seems it takes a while to get it together. Throw in the injuries and then you get these wildly inconsistent efforts.

I reckon we have been softened up by all the praise and favouritism and they do need an attitude adjustment. We are entitled to be unhappy with this start to the season but not outraged. Remember we made the TOp 4 in the past 2 seasons. In 2010 we started 4-5, and 2011 7-9\. Be paitent, we have a load of experience and eventually I reckon you will see a load more desire. This could y our last genuine shot at winning a comp for a few years, and they won't just waste a season. There is no way we will miss the 8.

Awesome post Eddie. Some are out of form, but I always have faith before every game that we can turn it around, because we are one of the few teams who can beat anyone on the day. I am still adamant that we shouldn't be cutting wrists until after round 6…
