Hopefully the SG Ball Balmain team of last season will begin floating into our first grade ranks by 2014 or 2015 and Potter will mould the squad based on his own philosophy. From all reports the Harold Matthews Magpies team must be alright, so they will come through the ranks in the latter half of this decade.

We are talking 3-5 years, but unfortunately, that is how long it will take to fully clean out the players and structure of a coach that was in existence for 10 years.

Just like the Wests Tigers 2009 NYC team who made the Grand Final was supposed to do.

We also have Wests Magpies 2011 SG Ball team who went through the regular season undefeated and Wests Tigers 2012 NYC who won the comp. Wests Magpies HM 2013 are currently undefeated.

If we are cleaning out why resign Fulton for another 3 years ? That was done after Sheens left.

From 2009 we did see dwyer, fifita and lui become main stays in our team which ran top 4 in the next 2 years i think over the next 2 years we will see plenty of last years nyc players come through, most notably the wingers, lovett and Santi
