Sheens...I am lost for words.

The response will be that Sheens has one year left on his contract and they will see it through.

I do hope though that this is enough for them to tell him to concentrate on the Kangaroos only and then we can chase new coaching staff, new recruitment policy and new direction.

Don't know, but we would have had a better chance than we did with Morris and Halatau on the bench.

Game plan was right and was working despite losing Skando. We had two fresh blokes on the field making huge amounts of yards up the middle. There was only one reason why we lost, Robbie Farah did not stand up and made some ridiculous decisions. If he does not kick the ball out on the full at 24 all, Wests win. He kicked that ball from halfway, there was no need to kick so close to the sideline.

I am glad he took responsibility with the comments I have seen from him in the press, because when the time came for him to lead and stand up as the game breaker, he was found short.

Iam with Balmain Bug, unless we get not one but two or three frontrowers we are in big trouble for 2010\. You can manufacture backrowers and threequaters but frontrow take a special breed of person. Outside Galloway we have no yards in our frontrowers, Skando is a try hard but dosnt scare anyone, Gibbs can tackle but gives away more yards in penalties than he has ever made, Payten isnt a frontrower or maybe off the bench at best and Laurie,we will never know. The cupboard is empty yet Sheens signs up nuffty outside backs.

Pathetic decision to play Halatau AND Morris instead of another prop.

Time and time again this costs us…and to think both Skandalis and Galloway were not 100%. :brick:

How hard is it to replace a PROP with another PROP!??

There is no defence for Sheens on that call HT…..he knew, christ we all knew . that the forwards were the walking wounded....that cost us any hope of winning that Titans game

Be prepared to go into games in 2010 with only 2 props in the entire 17\. The Fonz is a goose of the highest order. He can not admit he is wrong. We had no go forward again, and in 2010 we will have no go forward again.

Bug dont let the truth get in the way mate…If your referring to last nights game we had 3 less sets and made 100m less than the Titans...

Go forward wasn't the problem last night....

You may well be right, but with another prop on the bench, instead of the poor-performing Halatau, the stats may have read:-

Wests Tigers 3 less sets than the Titans BUT 200 METRES MORE GROUND MADE.

Surely, Morris could have covered the "utility role" on his own, like he has for lots of the season. Why put Halatau in?

I was screaming 18 months ago about Sheens. Now we have 1 finals series in 7 years and sheens has had a team to be there most years regardless of injuries. I still havent heard papers, reporters, footy show or anyone outside of tigers fans saying a bad word against sheens. Once in 7 years he has had us above average!!! If we were coached by almost any other coach in the world they would be riticuled in every paper and sports show going around.

We are now at 1 finals series in 19 odd years as a Balmain/Wests Tigers supporter. At least prior to 2004 we didnt have a team to compete. Now that we do I find it unacceptable to be yet again trying to find a team to support through the finals so my interest levels in footy stays high.

Its 18 months past time for a change….a change i dont believe will happen for another 3 dissapointing years.
