Was against the storm at Leichardt

Any hope history will repeat itself?

No Milky - don't think Sheens will come all the way back from England to coach the Tigers just for this one game at Leichhardt. LOL

I'm not sure if it's a good thing to punt Taylor just yet. He has been a terrible coach though so far. I keep hoping that he will improve and there have been some positive signs.

Yep, Taylor yells us about the positive signs after ever loss.

In terms of coaches on the market, there is a clear top pick - Cleary. We need to sack taylor and get Cleary before the Warriors do.
Side note - I noticed Peachey was named outside Penrith's top 17 this week… I would love for Cleary to bring him across to the Tigers!

Taylor couldn't afford a big losing streak this year.

Sadly for him 4 games could soon be 7 or 8 looking at the draw and injuries.

IHe needs to grab a couple of wins in the next 5-6 weeks and they are going to be tough to come by.

I throw enough daggers at players coach and all .. The only thing i want is us starting to win some games AGAIN

Before i start crying …

Can anyone actually remember when we were a decent side that could win more than two games on the trot against quality opposition ??

Seems like a lifetime ago 😢

By this stage of Potter coaching us we at least looked like a threatening side. We had some horrible players but Potter got a lot out of the squad he had.
So far he looks like he's doing similar at Newcastle.

2010 or 2011 when we were on a winning streak and beat 2 of the more favoured sides in successive weeks (dragons and manly).

It was a good time, to be able to believe you could actually win a grandfinal in a few weeks..

It's easy to to remember because season patches like this are as rare as hens teeth for our club.

Yeah at least I have West Ham to know that my side can compete with the top sides in the world

Lucky you.

Ps. They have been great this season, thoroughly enjoy watching them play. Payet is a freak.

Any one remember who the ex Parra back who Tim Sheens put in at prop for us. Sadly he went down with acl injury so we didn't get to see the nutty professors result.

Bring back Sheens.

He'll find a player similar to Jack Buchanan, only 15kg lighter and he'll start in the front row!

Sheens belonged to an era when you could get a much faster play the ball, not really fair to compare his tactics with the modern niggly wrestling game. The 90kg ball playing front rower may have been and gone.
