Just saw Tim Sheens on Fox Sports News and Views. He was in the studio and did a question and answer style of interview live at the studio.
Good interview, basically covered:
- Depth in halves with Lui, Moltzen, Taumata and Lazarus - although they are all young and need to develop into playmakers and leaders.Lui plenty of talent and will get his opportunity in early rounds
- Lote return - still n ot finalised although by the sound of his response he could be back by Rd 1 but probably wont play - i would assume Rd 3.
- Depth in outside backs to cover Tuiaki and Lote not being available early - rated Mitch Brown and Beau Ryan at training
- Said we are over 4500 members and have increased this area by over 40% - great work by club
- Talked about his coaching style and how he has changed over the years - likes to take risks to stay ahead and up to date with the game and trends
Some other bits in there however this was the guts of the interview. I must say Sheens speaks very well and whatever peoplke think of him as a coach (personally i am a Sheens fan) he is a great face and spokesperson for our club - very professionable, knowledgable and can deliver a message. Additionally, it is clearly obvious he knows what he is talking about. I am happy to have this man in charge of our team for the forseeable future.
