I thought Garner at least in the first half was much improved on last week. He was really hitting hard.

Garner was horrible last week and really put his body on the line with some great tackles.

I’ve been disappointed with Nofa. Hasn’t done really anything of note this year. Should have taken that intercept , instead knocks it on , and they score in the next set.

Agree. If BJ wasn’t that bad they would have went the other way and made him look the fool.

Defensively I thought he was an improvement on last week, but yeah only keeping Blores spot warm IMO

He has exceeded all my expectations. He is one of the toughest players on the field and the smallest. Some of our other players should be ashamed when they see the smallest player on the field give more then them.

Not just the smallest but the least experienced as well. Just like Grant last year, he’ll probably burn out around mid season from carrying this pathetic mob.

Laurie, Utoikamanu, Luciano, Blore, Simpkin, Talau, Nofa, Twal, Musgrove, Douihei are the players long term that will be in the team.

We need to keep building this group no more Packer, Mbye, Reynolds, BJ type deals. We have to build from within. I feel we are doing it but not enough if any juniors that have come through since the last crop.

The club is struggling I believe across most grades which is usually a bad sign.
