Should Junior Moors ask for a release?

Given Sheens reluctancy to use the services of Junior Moors and he is off contract at end of year should Moors ask for a release now and join another team?

If I was Moors or his manager I would ask for an immediate release and try and recommence my NRL career elsewhere.

Moors has been good in the two games he has played in NRL this year. I would try him in Ellis's spot as I believe Rhino and Fulton should not start together.

Moors must have put the hard word on Sheen's wife as it could be the only reason he keeps getting ignored. Shurely he is playing better than Groat and Ashyford (should be in State Cup IMO)

Penrith lack forward depth with Nigel Plumb out for a while. Maybe an option

Newcastle were considering Mason so there might be an option there as well

Why would we actively encourage under contract players to secure an immediate release?

Its hard… There may be circumstances which directely point at Moors 'why' he is being over-looked? We may have an opinion on him from what we see, but how do we know if Moors is failing to do as he is asked by Sheens?

Further more, as Smeg said, why would we encourage a player to be released. Considering he has played NRL in 2012, we are no chance of getting a Cap Exemption...

I really like what I've seen from Moors when he has been given a go.

But I still think people are hyping this up a lot more than it needs to be. Tigers need all the experience they can get in the forward pack right now, that could be the reason. Even then, I'd have him on the bench. I'm not going to lose much sleep over it though.

I can't understand why Moors is not getting any games. The odd time I have seen him play, thought he looked pretty good, but he never gets picked, even on the bench, he's being wasted

When Moors hits the open market, he'll be snapped up cheaply, due to little NRL action.
He'll become a starting 17 player for sure. This type of player will end up at the storm, raiders or sharks. And we'll be looking back and saying, geez he's improved, but the truth is nothing changed, he's got more NRL.

Sheens wont release him even if another club wanted him ,and won't play him in first grade either , not the first time Sheens has done this .!!!

If I was moors i would leave.

Great player who can bend the line a bit. Plays a good game, and then the next week is in First Division. I felt Ryan O'Hara copped the same story when he was actually fit. Would come on and make some real strong runs in a game, have far more impact than 3/4 of our pack, and then the next week be playing for Balmain-Ryde.

If Sheens rates using a 2nd back on the bench over a impact forward it probably tells you what he thinks of him
