Hey Redemption ! If there was one State Cup side in 2012 called the Wests Tigers, who would you want coaching them
?

someone from Balmain would be the logical and smart choice

Fletcher is being groomed for big things & has been successful with BRET - so I personally would go with him - but I would not rule out Epifania Bug!

Leo has also had fair success with an under-resourced Magpies team & I cannot fault his commitment & passion!

I think in the fairness of IDENTITY if a decision had to be made re NSWRL cup and or junior sides then the teams should revert to WESTS MAGPIES.

The TIGERS brand is very strong and prominent through the NRL Wests Tigers team. Although its a 50/50 joint venture and alot of the $$ come from the WESTS group i think its only fair that the MAGPIES stay alive in their own identity

Some people call them Wests (rarely) some call them Wests Tigers but most just innocently or intentionally refer to them the 'TIGERS'

Wests Magpies have the wide strong junior base and the $$$$ (Strong Leagues club at Ashfield)

Balmain-Ryde Eastwood is already a hy-brid identity and not the traditonal Balmain 1908 on its own.

I am a passionate WESTS TIGERS fan and want the club to live on forever but i dont want to see the Black & White colours and identity of the MAGPIE brand die off in any way.

We should have 2 sides I'll give u a couple of reasons why It actually gives the senior side a bigger talent base to choose from as these players are all contracted . we can still represent our former clubs in some way As a Magpie and enjoy it when both teams clash (as long as no one gets hurt ) . Maybe another option would be to run one side in Queensland Cup maybe gives a larger talent base to find new players ???
