Significance of winning this game

Our pack has fired up large on occasion this year, alot of credit goes to Blocker for the added sting… If its true, he will well and truly have the petrol and the lighter out, putting it on them to carry our young backs. If we play an ugly old school game, finesse goes out the window generally... I think the pigs can truly keep us in this game. I think a win is honestly on the cards.

Like to see our forwards really target the goal posts when they are attacking the line and then go wide if they fail

Seems to be the in thing with your props and seems to really mess with the defence because the big fellas defending struggle to get around the posts

Run our forwards at them, Sandow, that will give them less time to work, our backs will take advantage of our forwards rolling on. Our backs will have that advantage, if we win the forward battle. Play the game in the forward and we will have a chance of beating them.

Looking at how the table is looking, this game will be important in terms of keeping up with the top 4-8 teams. Gee I wish Robbie Farah was playing!!!!!!!
This will show us how well our forwards are leading the revival.

I have a question.

Did Rowe, Brooks, and Luani ever play together before. I have a feeling they have.

I dont think so coolcat.

Brooks will have played with rowe in u20s and luani in NSW Cup but not both together last year. And before that he was still at school. There could be a trial game, combined 20s/NSW Cup where they have but i cant think of one in the season proper.

If Farah was playing i'd be 100% confident of a win. Without Farah im 50/50\. He is that important to us!

This game is important cause if we can win it, it WILL give us the respect we have earned. Not only will we have beaten another top team this year but we will have done it with only 12 of our potential 17 regular first graders. (injuries to Farah, Sirro, Teddy, Sue, Kapow). It would be a great victory in itself to win against Parra on Monday, it will be a greater one to do so without our 9 and 1.

When we get up on Monday we will no longer have the 'fluke' tag thats attached to us now as it was in 2005 which allowed us to sneak under the radar into the finals. We will be genuine contenders for the 2014 title and all teams will be on notice to aim up against the Tigers cause they know they will be battered and bruised after facing us for 80 minutes.

We will win this one with toughness.

I dont know who it was, Blocker, Potter, Kidwell? but someone has thrown out the challenge to our forwards to match the Eels toughness. Both clubs have been exchanging heated texts all week. The Eels will be hard to beat but our forward pack fired up and angry equals a big win.

I' am quietly confident that we will win, my mates who are eels supporters have been giving it to me all week. No Farah, No Tedesco, No chance… :blah :blah :blah
I just told them if our forwards fire up we will beat you.

And they are still mocking me....
Oh I would love to have a win tomorrow.

See you guys at the game!
