Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I’d go hard for Herbie, he’s a quality player his attack is amazing and he’s defence is quality also!! If it means giving him fullback I’d be doing so!! The kid is absolute class!! Unless by some miraculous miracle we snagged Joey manu he would be the bloke I’d target
Yeah good player but unproven at fullback. All good if you can tackle or run hard. But you have to position yourself to do those things.

Fair call - As I also said, He's a modern day Matt Utai - Outside back that debuted at like 25....
I'll judge him on being Shite.

I don't rate To'a and think the Knights selling him to then turn around and sign Leleisiuao
for 3 years - Is the stupidest thing I've seen this year....

And there's been some stupid things.
Who's Lelelsiuao?
Greg Marzchew?

To build from within, we need to show that players from our turf are important to us.

That's how we build from our juniors. That's how we re-sign people for an under-market price and build a team. Show them we're more than a logo and that the brand is something deeper.

We can never be a checkbook club full of mercenaries. We need something more. Bringing as many of them home, where they can play a part, starts to re-grow that brand with a depth of purpose that we've lost in years gone by.

It's going to help us retain our juniors.
The only benefit in bringing back blokes that walked out and slagged the club off is that they might point out it is better to be a legend here than garbage at a superstar club

Pom said he'd informed the club he intended to sign with the Knights.
Why that happened is anyones' guess - They're all playing chess.

That's of course - If it actually happened.
Sheens was OS at the time. He clearly has backed him ahead of all others and is building what on paper looks like a stronger pack for him to play behind. How Brooks responds to that will either have fans singing Sheens praises, or wanting his head on the chopping block.

So I am not one of those plane-spotting persons, nor do I stalk people on social media.

However it is conceivable to fly to Sydney via LA, if you plan a US stop-over. It's not as if it's out of the way, it's just not as time-efficient as flying East from London.

Unfortunately therefore his current location does not conclusively kill the possibility that he's still eventually going to end up in Australia.
Not sure about you Jirskyr ...but if I was up and leaving for a few years to the other side of the world I'm not sure if I'd be heading via LA ...... and a holiday

Who knows what might end up in your boogie board .....or what happens to everything you are bringing ....but that's just me

But he is a Pom ..hey @hobbo1
