I remember Sirro charging for the line is the pooring rain against the Raiders. He had forwards hanging all over him as he surged to score. It was a hard impressive run and really impressed me. Unfortunately that was the last thing I ever actually remember him doing. I think BnW's post above really summarises Sirro.

On JAC, I think we should add that Pascoe asked him not to sign until he returned to holidays. For reasons best known to JAC he chose to sign before Pascoe returned. Can't do to much about that.

Losing Martin and Paseka are the ones I am most upset about. I like the proposed signings mentioned in this thread. I also like just about any lower grade signings that come from the Storm or the Dogs. They have the right culture and work ethic and just need a shot in First Grade.

IMO Fifita is a game breaker, Woods isn't.

The "one good game in 5 weeks" is one more than Lovett has played in the last 5 years. He's completely and utterly hopeless.

Played alright in the city country game last year when surrounded by decent players. Was prepared to get in do the dirty work in the middle while big Siro was hiding one in from the wing waiting for the ball.

And yet he's without a club next year and we don't see many teams lining up to bring him into their squad. Strange huh?

No i have no evidence. I am not an insider. However leaving a State rep player out of the team when we were still in finals contention and his form did not warrant it is an indication. There are also reports that the coach destroyed a peace agreement with said player that could have saved the club embarrassment on his departure. Couple that with a refusal to play a winger on the wing and leaving Sirronen out when those replacing him were performing no better and its not a stretch to come to my conclusion.

My biggest issue here is people get shot down for offering information. Quite often you hear something and it then changes as nothing is concrete and you get all the keyboard warriors blasting you.

I for one am thankful when people pass on possible inside info.
