Just because you and your ex bestie, JT, didn't rate him doesn't mean others are of the same view. If he keeps on playing well, someone of his size and ability is always useful.

Taylor was a diabolically bad coach. Maybe one of the worst ever. To think he had Addo-Carr in reserve grade whilst playing Rankin still makes me feel sick.

Unfair call bro. I feel your frustration but Jt made sacrifices to make the club cap free for 2018 that should not be forgotten especially when he is not than man to benefit from it.

What did that have to do with the team selections he made every week? JAC was available all last year and he put Rankin in ahead of him. Why? He also had Siro and Farah in reserve grade while Lovett and Halatau started. That wasn't cap related, that was just stupidity.

True but cap still sorted for next year which is great for us.

Siro was a bust, the majority on here were a wake up to it at the end. I feel like that people complaining about him not getting a go now are just using him as a vehicle to bash the coach for something else. Maybe we need to re-hire JT just so we can sack him again, because it seems like one sacking hasn't quenched the thirst of all of those that detest him.

Didn't look like a bust to me last night against the Roosters.

Sorry but we need a better bench. Seumanafei i like. jj felise for a young bloke. But we need another big guy like kane evans or similar. Sue isnt big enough for front row and too slow for 2nd row. Get rid of him.

I think you are correct with Sue…..tries hard but we have enough of those type players.

Sue is a great bench impact forward we need proper edge backrowers so he can come on and do damage in the middle. Don't write him off due to poor coaching he looks underdone and playing in the wrong position,

Nah Ava and he started at the same time and I think only one has a future….time to drop off the dead wood like Suaso.

Agree. Big fan of Ava but Sue looks to be getting worse.

The cap was always sorted for next year we have over 20 players coming off contract JT had bugger all to do with it. Robbie was off cap in 2018 Lawrence was origionally off cap also.Dont try to make out JT got is under the cap because he didnt

At the end of the day JTs agenda, as promoted by himself, was to improve our defence. He failed miserably. I gave him a chance, 2 and a bit years is more than enough to see some improvement, and we didnt. I think most already feared his man management skills and this fear was brought to light ie RF and Sirro etc. Theres no doubt Curtis has talent… Consistency has been his problem..... And at this level i feel that is what the coach is there to do... Get the best out of his players consistently. Anyways hooroo JT and anyone who wants to continue to support him enjoy your weekends at Dunedoo...

If that is true Stryker, then he was really successful at sabotaging himself. Every cloud has a silver lining I guess.

And don't try and make out that his hands weren't tied because they were. His and Potter's. I doubt they were signing guys like Rankin and Edwards for the hell of it.

Agree 100%

Vendettas? So he was purposely selecting "bad players" to take revenge on certain other players, in spite of or at risk of losing matches? He was sabotaging the team at risk of his own career?

I've seen some wild accusations here but that is up there. You guys are just making this up, what pure nonsense.

Seriously give me even a shred of support for this apart from what you think you are viewing on the footy field. Anything, give me any skerrick of legit info that you saw or heard, or even that somebody told you, apart from your weekly review of the team roster and your own wild imagination.

So despite dumping Siro and Farah to reserves for performance issues (perceived by coach, not necessarily with agreement from all fans), the fact that he didn't dump Rankin and Halatau and Lovett as well means he had vendettas against the players he dumped, but not the players he kept (that you obviously don't rate)?

There are a few things you have overlooked.

* JAC was not in the Top 25 and there were 2nd-tier cap issues for him to play firsts.
\

* Rankin was the incumbent winger and goal-kicker from 2015; JAC was only signed for 2016
\

* Tigers wanted to keep JAC but Storm fielded a superior offer which he accepted, then he tried to get out of it but the 10-day cooling off had expired and Tigers could not retain him without a penalty payment to Storm. Considering we were in salary cap trouble at the start of this year, it's clear we didn't have the spare money to make a bigger offer for JAC.

By all means have a rant, but please try just a little to make it an informed and constructive rant.

Come on guys - can we get back on topic here.

For a Forum that had over 90% of people wanting the coach gone - it would seem that most on here don't really want to let him go as you keep bringing the topic up.

We've had heaps of pages on JT bashing (still) and now Siro at Manly - both are gone and neither have anything to do with signings next week.

JAC was lost over 30k and Taylor rated Rankin above him.
Potter did similar with Koro if I remember correctly.
We released Taupau for nothing in return and now Paseka.
There is a disturbing trend in releasing naturally big, powerful and fast athletes. We love plodders that try hard at WT it's in our DNA.

Off course he only had limited options but he did have more options than Potter who i considered to be a decent coach. The best part is Cleary can come in and get rid of the non performers and start from scratch.

That's two players, and we know why Tigers release Taupau, because he signed on at Manly for the following year for a huge salary.

OR are you counting JAC as being big and powerful? Because he's neither, he's fast. Chris Lawrence used to be fast.

30K - if indeed JAC was lost, why didn't you stump up the shortfall? When you get down to the end of the salary cap, every 10K counts. If it's "just 30K", why not add that to every players' salary, bump them all up, it's such an insignificant amount.

I'm talking about natural athletes that coaches should be able to work with and improve.

The club could have made the shortfall they didn't offer it and went back with a counter offer after he signed with the Storm. Pretty poor when a player doesn't want to leave and has talent we can't keep them.

Potter wanted to keep Koro the board went over him and let Koro go also Potter said to the board sign Farrah for two years then see how he is going but again the board went over his head you can not blame the coach for everything try blaming the board every once in a while they ok stupid things

This forum is descending into one big whingefest. Why don't one of you complaining windbags go and start a "Wests Tigers Bashing Forum" and keep it all there…

I'd like to see us go after Whare and Milne….I'm sure Kev will end up in superleague once the season ends, was suppose to happen this year but a deal fell through in the last minute
