I think we have a bit better depth in the forwards on 2018 , if all the backs stay fit …......... 😛ray:

Agree. We recruited for depth.
:unamused:

Pray hard, happy.

We have some definite upgrades on 2018 obviously with Musgrave and Matterson

Hopefully players like Aloiai ,Garner and the Twuth take big steps towards being more than potentially good players

If Mikaele can step up to at least impact bench forward our pack is far better

Then when injuries hit , players like Rochow , Garner when they get called up will be fresh

Put the best 2018 pack on paper and the best 2019 pack on paper and you'll see the difference

Young gun Bronson Xerri is a wests tigers fan.

Has Zac Cini signed with Wests Tigers? Looking at his highlights he certainly has the pace and talent to make it as a first grade centre.

Yes and versatile as well. He played, wing and 5/8 in one of the games but also plays centre and fullback,

I agree. Our side isn't a top 4 side but it can make 5-8 if things go our way. Matterson and Musgrave look the goods and if Mikaele is as good as everyone is suggesting wel have good punch off the bench.

For me the biggest issue will be the hooker situation. I want a 80 minute hooker. Rather have someone like garner or mck as our utility than middle/Farah.

Then we can play 3 props on the bench..

I've notice that a lot of people have Momirovski in their 2019 lineups over Mahe Fonua. Mahe Fonua has proved he's a beast and he was good for his first 6 games or so with us until he got injured, he came back after his injury at the end of the season and that's where his form dropped because he just came back from a broken arm. Momirvoski hasn't really proved himself, he played 2 games for the Roosters this year and scored 2 tries because both of them were easy tries which showed no class or skill whatsoever. So I wouldn't put Fonua out of it, hell maybe if we do sign Walker, Fonua will go back to the wing dropping Thompson or Nofoaluma. Thompson is average and I know this will offend a lot of people but he hasn't shown much skill apart from being a reliable fullback, and even then I got a bit scared when he let the ball bounce all the time. He hasn't shown much skill, speed, or finishing ability on the wing, heck a few tries he didn't score there a few times I thought any other winger in the NRL could of scored that.

Are you actually watching Thompson from the Wests Tigers?

Yes and few times he's been unable to finish in the corner when most wingers in the NRL would of been able to.

I am so glad Graham is staying at the Sharks I just never understand the love for these types .. yes a good player that is is injury prone and his best days are behind him .
In all seriousness if this club wants to climb the ladder of success better options of player recruitment has to be applied …Younger...stronger and hungry !if not the Graham type signing just keeps keeps the mediocrity wheels turning.

I think you're undervaluing his finals and rep experience would bring to us that a young bloke wouldn't.
The guys a winner and he alone would attract others of a similar status

Dragons want Norman if Widdlop goes but Parra would prefer that Mitch Moses leaves Moses should be looking for a start in the UK Super League to refine his skills and come back reborn, Stuff having a club like the Eels tell you they don't want you,.

St George Illawarra have reportedly expressed interest in one of Parramatta’s star halves.

and taupau has been linked with Canterbury, Parramatta and the Sydney Roosters in recent months.

One of parras star halves?

When did Thurston and Cronk start playing for them?

The term 'star' gets thrown around rather loosely these days..

I guess the big question will be who fills the role as hooker in 2019 , Robbie isn't on 2009 legs anymore , maybe we will need to fill a horses for courses changeover …..
