How do you know they haven't bothered to try? You've asked for inside info several times the last few days, so you obviously have no knowledge of the inner workings and who the club has been bothered to try and sign.

After 7 years of not making the finals some level of complaining is warranted. Anyone who is satisfied with what's been dished up since 2012 is very easily pleased..

We would've heard about it from those on here, who do have the inside knowledge, if we were actively trying to sign anyone of note.

You would probably only hear about it if it got to the point where the player was seen talking to management. Not if an agent has been contacted and it didn't get to that level of discussions.

Impatience is what drove our problems in our past with overspending and backloading. Sure we got to the finals in 10 & 11, but it took years to unravel from that mess and put us back on a path to success.

We're being smarter. Picking up players when clubs are looking to offload and only signing value for money where we need it. Mbye and Robbie last season, who knows this season if we keep a spot open?

That's how you build a team better than what the cap allows. Not by jumping at every headline.

I am not sure what to be concerned about. The fact that we are not linked with players, or the fact that we are making approaches but not getting anyone.

Under the CBA clubs have to spend around 95% of their cap. If we are spending that on our current 29 players, then a few are getting big overs or our cap is being mismanaged.

Where is Tigerpower when you need him. Seems we cant even complain about not chasing high profile signings now. Most of the guys having a whinge are good contributors to the forum. Id rather listen to their opinions than another zero expectation supporter telling us to be patient. Or the classic "next year". Hold on to our money and buy someone mid season, yeah because that is going to help us in 2019\. PLEASE!
