Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I can't see many reasons why Wests Tigers could want a back rower of Rhys Martin's running and defensive ability. They have at least six or seven young back rowers (plus Lawrence) in firsts and ISP who are much more effective as running and defensive back rowers. His only upside is goal kicking and I guess he could play in ISP until Marsters is one day unavailable to play.

Kent said on 360 we are having a look at Blayke Brailey

Missed 360 tonight, that would be a decent pick up, he has huge wraps on him, the sharks might try offload his older brother to keep him, in that case maybe not such a good deal

I would take a bag of spuds, a broken down Barina and a dozen back issues of Angler's Weekly as an exchange if it meant getting three years at 750k of Josh Reynolds off the books with no freight.

Yes, I don't think I've ever seen a more dramatic change in a player, still in his prime, than I have seen with Foran. The guy was an absolute gun of a player when he was at Manly, now he just seems to have no idea!

Just from this afternoon my ‘latest’ or ‘unread’ lists are not updating and taking me to the latest post. They keep going back to posts read 4 or 5 hours ago. I’ve cleared cache and reset but that did nothing. Any ideas?

Same for me @Kul

Edit: didn't mean to post here.

## The Wests Tigers are considering making a play for Cronulla’s rookie hooker Blayke Brailey, according to *NRL 360* host Paul Kent.

Brailey, the younger brother of the Sharks starting hooker Jayden, is off-contract at the end of the season and has begun talks with the club to extend his stay.

But the Sharks could have a fight on their hands with the Tigers sniffing around, while Canterbury have also reportedly identified the 20-year-old as a target.

Blayke Brailey’s on the market now, he’s off-contract this year,” Kent told *NRL 360* on *Fox League.*

“I think the Wests Tigers might be having a little nibble at him.

“They can’t stay together. They’re two brothers who play the same position and they can’t just spend the rest of their careers swapping minutes so one of them will have to move on at some point.

“Obviously at Wests Tigers, Robbie Farah moves on at the end of the season so there’s a position vacant there at dummy half.

“It may not come off but certainly the Tigers are having a look at Blayke Brailey as a replacement for full-time hooker.

“If Cronulla believe Blayke’s going to have a bigger future (than Jayden), how do they manage that?”

On the other forum, a poster intimated the WTs may have signed a young Manly forward named Josh Schuster. I can't verify the truth but I do know Schuster is a highly regarded second row forward. With Lambkin and Warwick at our Club, it makes sense.

Maybe just a thought but ive been thinking Dogs need Reynolds, which frees up Foran to Manly which then in turn gets us a favour from Manly.

I would be disappointed to see Reynolds go this year. I think he will be very valuable later on as the season wears on and Benji wears down.

If Reynolds was on 400-500k we wouldn't care as much. Its his high salary that annoys us. We can't bank on Marshall. Last year for 6-8 rounds he was really good. Then he turned back to his sideways running rubbish that loses games.

We need Reynolds this year. Maybe not next year if we can find a cheaper replacement.
