lol he was part of those who were grilled for putting on weight in the off season and coming back less fit.
I'd say the poster is drawing a long bow.,

He reakons that we are only being hard on who we wanna get rid of and if we wanted to keep Latu he wouldn’t have failed this 😭lol he was part of those who were grilled for putting on weight in the off season and coming back less fit.

I’m not sure Gus looked that closely at our “depth”

Good points, have never paid attention to any other teams scheduling tbhDon’t tell me that’s the first you have realised this blatant bias by the NRL towards their beloved donkeys. One major city club with it’s own major stadium, only play on Friday nights so it easier for fans, and sponsors, more profitable, prime time for tv, full weekend off or recovery for players, etc, etc.
You can sign a sponsor telling them they get PT TV almost every week and players saying you get most weekends off with your fam instead of working.
The ease with which you can then set your club routine up with minimal disruptions.
It’s a fkn armchair ride through the comp.
I blacklisted their games about 10years ago.
Yeah improving but still going to regret upgrading all those development deals.I'm starting not to mind the depth (Bit skinny in the spine)
With the last few buys being 1-17 Players, It will no doubt push a few of the 1-17 from the last few years back to cup - Where some of them should always have been.
the depth is improving though. apart from the backrow we look much better in comparison to past years. still some work to do but at least we won't be one injury away from disaster, providing it isn't Luai.I’m not sure Gus looked that closely at our “depth”

That’s the thing. If Luai or Api go down, we’re probably still bottom four. Obviously the kids are still an unknown this year. I wouldn’t be getting too carried away but with a good run with injuries we’ll win more games.the depth is improving though. apart from the backrow we look much better in comparison to past years. still some work to do but at least we won't be one injury away from disaster, providing it isn't Luai.

Even if Luai gets injured for a couple of weeks it's not even too bad considering where we were 2 years ago.the depth is improving though. apart from the backrow we look much better in comparison to past years. still some work to do but at least we won't be one injury away from disaster, providing it isn't Luai.
I'm less worried if Api goes down given TDS is pretty capable, but if we were to lose Luai as you say we'll be in plenty of strife. he's pretty durable, but it would be typical WT luck if we were to lose him for an extended period. That’s the thing. Agreed. The top teams spend most of their cap on their top 17 and have very little depth. Even the Roosters have guys like Junior Pauga in their top 30 who IMO is worse than Faatape who is on a development contract with us.Most clubs that make the 8 don't have great depth just more luck with critical injuries. Not everybody has depth like the pamfers storm and rorters.
I think Api is an absolute gem and we’ll see a return to his best this year, carrying the Wests Tigers is a heavy burden.I'm less worried if Api goes down given TDS is pretty capable, but if we were to lose Luai as you say we'll be in plenty of strife. he's pretty durable, but it would be typical WT luck if we were to lose him for an extended period.
