If we can jag Spencer, I can't see Galvin going anywhere. May, Leniu, Fainu, Pole, Bird, Sayfarth, Twal, he isn't going to find a pack that much better than us to play behind, we would have a few workhorses and a few guys with grunt.

That's true, that's where Richo and Benji need to try to convince the guys that you can have the big dollars or take unders, to stay with your mates and build a legacy that translates to dollars later on down the track.

I'm sure the Roosters could dangle a few juicy carrots in front of a young player like Galvin & tempt him away.
As much as they are losing name players- the younger guys coming through over there are very promising players. One good buying spree & they are premiership favourites again.

Have you ever watched the current crop of ‘comedians’ and their feeble attempts at being funny?
I actually feel for the younger generation as they don’t have the same opportunities to have unmitigated fun, without everything they do being tracked, as previous generations.
PS Nobody can be a long term WestsTigers supporter without having a sense of humour.

In a perfect world yes.
Id be surprised if Galvins crew will see it that way.
Hes their meal ticket and could earn somewhere from $12-15M in his career solely from contract payments.

Penrith should be the blueprint.
They continually lose what seem to be 'key players' & just roll on with success (this year might be telling though- Luai & Fisher-Harris are big losses).
The Tigers can't lose KEY guys. We WILL lose good players, if we get to be successful. You can't stop that. No amount of loyalty keeps every young man from chasing a few hundred grand extra per year.
Then you need to trust the junior factory to pump out ready made replacements to keep the ball rolling.
Galvin is great. But is he $500k per season BETTER than Latu Fainu? If we need to pay Galvin $1m per season to stick, is it better value, squad-wise, to run Luai with Latu, a ready made replacement?
Different story if there isn't a guy ready to step in (name nearly all other positions where we don't have depth).

He has knocked us back for the last 2 seasons so I doubt it is s us , he is well passed him use by date
