Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Not saying any of that , but we don’t need him we got luai , the money we would need to get him , we need to buy some backrowers , who I hope are younger than a 37 year old , and by the way people on here bitched about getting bird at 29
One , the money needed would be Galvins money if he leaves , probably Richo has 900 ready for Galvin , so no extra money
Two , Galvin goes I’m not 100% on Latu yet and Luai would play 5/8
3 , I was happy Bird joined us as I knew he always had a go something we lacked

Only if those numbers are Dylan Brownesque....which I doubt they will be.
The figures Dylan Brown will be getting are 'ridiculous' .. and Newie are starting to think twice about what they have done after watching Brown's MIA performances after 3 rounds .. 😳 At the moment, Brown couldnt lead sheep to water .. !!

So by Browns the performances so far .. the performances from Galvin so far he would warrant "Dylan Brownesque" figures .. easily .. !!

I seen about a hour ago Daily Mail posted a ‘insider’ said manly want Galvin for 2026 & onwards. Take it with a grain of salt I guess
Yes agree with you I would look at it that way a grain of salt, insider just means gutless wonder who won't put his name behind what he writes.
Richo would never let Galvan walk early unless high quality was coming our way, just a speculative clown.

Ur 1st one is not realistic, we won’t know what Galvin will do till nov , then it would be to late

We would be hoping Richo would have a fair value extension already laid out with a little room to move higher if we have to, well that's what you would expect if we have graduated to a professional outfit.
I really think what we need for our recruitment is a great story as opposed to bags of gold. Joey Johns has already sewn the seed in Galvin's mind about being the one to turn the club around. I expect that this is the story that Richo will sell to Galvin, TDS, Latu, Bula and Makasini. Perhaps Pole and his brother can be roped into a similar conversation about building a dynasty.

The only way to pave that road is though building a Wests Tigers culture that will keep them here. We are on our way and I think that Richo, Benji and the nepo coaching staff are part of the narrative. Convince them that they are the core of success and you sell them a story of continued salary growth based on success and we are most of the way there.

If Richo hasn't got something going on in relation to building wealth for them outside of footy (Chooks Model) he is missing a trick.

The key - win firetrucking games - we have the roster to do so - now it is time for Benji to earn his $ and turn us into a side knocking on the top 4. May not happen in 25 - but with a few astute signings to address our weaknesses and bolster our depth and we are there.

You can only take pleasure in what's happening at the knights now there would be second thoughts for sure.
Wait till they have to shed club favourites to balance their cap the club is in danger of becoming an unhappy place and be on the nose for seasons.

This is the article with an appalling display of arrogance especially when you read the list of Moses clients with appointments at Manly. He's with us for the next 2 years so sit back and watch the implosion at Manly.

There is media talk DCE could get a ridiculous 1.5mill a season 2 year deal so you would think he would get at least 1mill per season, don't think we would want that ball and chain on the cap.
If it's a premiership he wants you would think he would leave for a bargain price so that the team he joins doesn't have to shed players and jeopardize the chances of doing so.
BT is right we have Luai we don't really need him.
Didn't worry him last time. 🤣

Good on 'em.

I want Angus Crichton, Cam Murray and Herbie Farnworth for 2026.

Let them daydream.

DCE is gone, Turbo's hamstrings are a ticking time bomb and Jake is well on the wrong side of 30.

They're in for a big slide.

Isaac Moses has had a few Stacked sides in Recent years - Us (back in the Big 4 days) Broncos and Parra.
All of them got the Wooden Spoon during or within reach of his take over bid.

Are Manly next?

Not going to offer 500/1 odds it won't happen, there is a pattern forming here.

Herbie is always pushing forward at the end of tackles sometimes he picks up penalties, others he picks up yardage. Either way he must me strong the way he leans into tackles
