Anyone who thinks the galvin situation is over needs to have a look at his body language towards luai. Post-match is very timid in the team song and to the side. Very unusual. On the kayo broadcast, if you go to the post match galvin leaves as luai enters the room very swiftly, and is with da silva in the sheds straight away. It is quite worrying and will continue to drag on as the season unfolds. If you want evidence go to about the 2:12 hour mark on the kayo broadcast. It is also concerning that galvin is barely seen with the rest of the team in TMay's vlogs, and is only spotted with 1 or 2 guys mainly his jersey flegg mates like da silva and luke lauli'i. Part of me feels sorry for him being a young kid, but he's no doubt brought it on himself
A player of his talent for another 1.5 seasons on his current deal is damn good value. We own it and we should make the most of it. Parra and Mitch Moses' dodgy ageing feet are going to have to wait a couple of seasons I'm afraid.I sometimes wonder if we can still resolve Galvin’s concerns, persuade him to change his mind and re-sign with us if we have a successful season, but the points you have raised among others strongly indicates he has made up his mind and his heart is not in playing for our club long term.
It’s sad and I’m sure our club could have done many things better to try and convince him to stay, but at the end of the day we give him his NRL opportunity before any other club would have, we have offered him a long term deal at a million dollars per season, before he has really earned that money, so like most of our fans, I’m satisfied we done all we could to keep him long term and if he doesn’t change his mind I think it would be in our best interests to release him for 2026 providing we get a player or players of value in return.
I saw the same post. Seemed very confident… but you never know.
Would love him to turn his career around here.
Or it is Richo’s burner lolMaybe Richo leaked it to this guy on Facebook that the Tigers has signed Fifita ?
I’d probably agree with you but I think Fifita will cost at least 200k more than KPP.I'm not writing this because im excited by a Facebook rumour. More to make a point about KPP.
If you are going to overpay for one of them I'd take Fafita as we have seen his ceiling and it is elite, but the risk is high.
KPP is a project player still and he shouldnt be, doesn't use his size, isn't bad, but not that much cheaper than David F when you think about it.
Fifita is 25...if he's going to live up to his potential, his time is now.Fifita has genuine X factor but imo only shows it on lesser teams. When there is pressure defence of better sides he seems to go into his shell
Really suits running after a quick play the ball

Worth a punt on 600k for 2-3 years, but more than that is too much on current form.
The lower contract might take the pressure off him too.
KPP hasn't shown any form, ever, to suggest he will make a material difference to our team. He has shown what he is capable of and it's not that exciting.
Fifita at least showing a little at times. Not a lot on the market, so I would give him the chance based on the Gold Coast being a place where careers tend to die rather than flourish. Too hot, too relaxed, paid too much, too many women and too many distractions. It's possible this could be part of the issue up there.
The media would still find a way to find the negative in it lol* Fantasy talk *
Imagine if we DID sign him & he comes and returns to origin form.
It'd be like Terrell Davis May all over again.
Good player, unwanted by club for whatever reason, comes to Tigers and goes beast mode.
Quite the story.
True, though he had GI for awhile...Bellamy has mainly been ok with centres who make their tackles and don’t make errors, if your wingers are finishing off the tries I don’t necessarily think you need big names at centre. Wouldn’t knock Stephen Crichton back though.

Yep, they would say that Benji doesn't have the experience to turn Fafita's career around etc etc....The media would still find a way to find the negative in it lol
