Honestly I don't understand why anyone thinks player swaps are a good idea when your the club losing a player first.

You only get a player a club wants to lose and you limit your choices to 1 club instead of 16.

People lose a sense of reality on this forum. There's nothing to suggest that Reynolds has the skills to be a mentor (which is different to his skills as a player) and it didn't work out well for his previous understudy at Souths. There's also nothing to suggest that Latu would be able to learn from Reynolds as his skill set is different. The student/teacher thing is very hard to work through in a professional sports area where both players are trying to play at the elite level at the same time.

Reynolds, ... I don't think will sign here.
Benji, AD, Richo and a few other factors working in our favour...

But he said his family are settled in Brisbane. If the club offers a coaching job, he may just take it.
