Dom dropped him to go to the Rorters so why would KPP hang around for him. It's also obvious Knights are not offering him much to stay, I heard $500k, so a $200k haircut. Newcastle is not that far from Sydney anyway if they want to get together and talk about the miserable weather back home.

yeah he’s on $750k now but as we know knights cap is all kinds of messy with ponga and brown on huge deals. we offered $600k and he asked knights to match and they simply can’t, when richo said they’ll be signings from teams that have over extended their cap i think knights / broncos were who he was talking about

Richo is going a great job of keeping our supporters hanging waiting for these promised signings.

I’d say it’s safe to say Wests Tigers would not be the only club growing their hat in the ring to sign KPP at 600k per season.
I just can’t see us getting him at that price, but would be great if we did.

raiders had a look too but they’re stacked in that position lol
 
I'm hoping the hold-up re KPP is we are getting him for this year. I don't think he will get us into the 8, however he is probably an upgrade on Seyfarth and we sorely need some depth in the forwards. Worst case he can cover a spot and we can move Samuela into the middle if the need arises and Sukkar keeps improving.

You're assuming that he'll be able to restrain himself and abide by the non-disparagement clause. But as others have said, he's (i) egotistical and (ii) dumb, even for a footballer. He could struggle with the rehearsed responses.
