Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Other than adding Taylan, I agree.

Bang for buck and a damn good player.

Really hope this one happens - but yah, need forwards badly.
I know that Taylan has alot of potential but I am genuinely concerned about his stability.

Ive seen ppl go through what I assume to be similar stuff, and they don't generally just go to rehab and come out "fixed".. Its usually a process over time.. and he'll probably fck up a few times along the way, so if we sign him, we do so accepting the risk it isn't going to be a smooth ride... We either be there as a support for him or we don't sign him at all.. there's no point throwing him a lifeline and having a 0 strikes policy, because i just don't think it's a reasonable expectation if what Ive read is to be believed.

I don't think this is as clear cut a signing as ppl make it out to be..

Api going to Perth doesn't make sense. One of the main reasons he joined the Tigers over the Dolphins back in 2023 was because he wanted to stay in Sydney to be closer to his aging parents and because he has a young family. Why would he now move across the country to Perth?

IMO it is.

There is absolutely no doubt it comes with risks, and prerequisites.

Pick him up for cheap and invest the time to bring him back into grade - whatever it takes. Initially short term contract with plenty of stipulations. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. If it works, it's a great buy.

If we don't do it, Wayne will.

He said on the news that he is up for the move if it comes off… maybe he is playing 4D chess with Richo over the extension?
