Api going to Perth doesn't make sense. One of the main reasons he joined the Tigers over the Dolphins back in 2023 was because he wanted to stay in Sydney to be closer to his aging parents and because he has a young family. Why would he now move across the country to Perth?

api is incredibly close with benji and loves the tigers , if he goes for a juicy retirement contract it’ll be because he doesn’t want the club to lose tds and so on . if bears want him they better pay him overs because he deserves it

As much as i love Api if it means transitioning to TDS over the next 18 months, I think it would be the ideal situation.
As for centres- AD is just not an NRL centre and it seems Toa is ready to jump ship all of sudden. So now what is the near future for us (don’t say makasini as he is hardly a sure thing yet).

Api started as a Bear and if he gets a big final contract to finish as one i don't have any qualms with it. He is one bloke you couldn't question he's commitment over the past few years. Plus he'll have the rest of this and next which will arguably be the best of what he has left.
Think it works for all involved really.

Api just said he was open to play for tge Bears and move to Perth. Essentially saying to them "make me an offer". Of course the news report says Api could be their first signing.
