The club’s position is obvious. Benji doesn’t rate him, and would prefer a mid 30’s Api. It sheds light on why TDS has spent so much time in KOE lately.

Api’s days of playing 80mins as a number 9 finished 4 years ago, we need Da Silva playing 30-40mins each game immediately.

Do we tho? Api is still producing at a high level let's not make it out like he's been in shit form

I’m guessing tallyn would be going to parra , brown to newy and kpp to us . which is silly because we’ve already signed kpp i don’t care for getting him early.

When a dropped players goes on to get told they are free to leave, it gives that belief some credence

GNR this morning you were arguing that our club has an overinflated sense of how good our juniors are and were arguing against a big extension for Luke Lauli'lii. Are our juniors good or not? Because at this stage it just seems like all you want to do is stick the boot in.

He's not leaving because the club doesn't rate him I mean Richo has openly said he wants Tallyn to stay

“But just because you give permission to negotiate doesn’t mean you have to accept it. We’re trying to do everything we can to keep Tallyn in our system, but obviously he wants to play first grade and we don’t blame him. We’ll see how it unfolds.”

If the club intends that he can be approached prior to 1 Nov, perhaps it would look at swap options from all interested clubs.

Blake Mozer is older than Tallyn and hasn't seen any first grade this year, yet he just re-signed.

He explained it but there are many people who draw conclusions based on the tidal influence of the position of the moon to my man moon.

Nope but all the naysayers and death riders have half of our current juniors and those of the future already out the door.

Respectfully have to disagree, TDS at least you could give 20-25 minutes at this stage in first grade. Anything more than that he’s not ready for giving him 30-40 won’t result in a win for us. Unless we’re already up by 40-50 and you know we’re gonna win, you wouldn’t give him that long just yet.

First of all, I said the forum does, not the club. Secondly, there is a balance to the argument. Saying you think people put them on a pedestal doesn’t mean you think none of them should be re-signed.

He’s leaving cos the club plans on prioritising 33 year old Api. I love Api, but not to the extent we should sacrifice TDS. Doubt many other clubs would.
