So he did it properlyHe was charged with high-range drink driving (0.253 = 15+ drinks) and property damage (he collided with 3 cars). It's definitely worth of summary dismissal.
Not if he only pulls his finger out cause it's contract timeThe thing with Doueihi is I always seem to want him gone, but by thet ime its time for a new contract I want him to stay. Interesting pattern that
I think it will take a career-best MOM performance on Sunday at lock for Richo to even contemplate anywhere near $400k for 2 years. On the flip, it could well be AD's last game in our starting lineup. That Article makes AD sound like he is killing it at lock and has singlehandedly got us into the top 8...wait a minute.....

Pretty sure we moved out to concord under Sheens in his first tenure. The centre of excellence was done under Pasco if that's what you mean.Wrong thread for this but do HBG give Richo the 1.8m and he decides the best way to invest it? If so that's a tough job because he's starting off the back foot compared to other clubs. And who helps Rich with these decisions?
Side note, everyone bags Pascoe and probably for good reason but didn't he set up Concord? This was so important when trying to attract players.
Structural deficit doesn't refer to infrastructureYou just need to look at China and realise how important infrastructure is.
They built roads linking communities. They built trains.
They found what was being bottlenecks to their industries and they built support!
Also Every Asian country invests heavily into education. We are really dropping the ball. Like really bad.
We can either look ahead or look up our own arses... I totally agree, we have a massive Structural deficit and it sucks.
Wonder if now he has a contract in his back pocket ready to sign if his gorm tanks. I doubt it cause I reckon he wants to stay, but I'm curious to see how he goes.I think it will take a career-best MOM performance on Sunday at lock for Richo to even contemplate anywhere near $400k for 2 years. I'm not doubting the 1.8 million grant from HBG but you only use the dogs as a comparison - what about throwing in Warriors, Cronulla, Manly, and Canberra who are all in the bottom 6 clubs for commercial revenue yet 2 are in the Top4, 1 is in the 8 and 1 is just outside the 8. They seem to be doing ok on not much more than the tigers.
| Club | Est. Revenue (2024) | Owner | Reported investment in NRL spend |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warriors | ~A$11.6 M | Autex Industries (Mark Robinson) | Club earns approx 11.6M in revenue. I could find no information on how this is invested. No info on owner donations |
| Manly Sea Eagles | ~A$11.5 M | Scott Penn (100% owner) | Club earns approx $11.5M but I could find no information on how this is invested. Peen is reported to have invested an addtional $6.6 M since 2006 ($2.6M as a personal donation) |
| Canberra Raiders | ~A$25.9 M (franchise); league club ~A$92 M | Canberra District RL Football Club | $5 M+ via league‑club profits Canberra Raiders is a not for profit so this is the spend on top of the NRL grant. |
| Cronulla Sharks | ~A$19.5–22 M | Cronulla‑Sutherland District RLFC | $5M on top of a $2.74M football department profit in 2024. The Sharks are not run as a Not for Profit organisation; but the Leagues Club is. There is potential for funding to increase once new Leagues Club is complete ($30M investment) |
| Wests Tigers | ~A$67.8 M* (non‑grant income) | Holman Barnes Group (via Wests Ashfield Leagues Clubs) | 1.8M (2024) Wests Tigers is a not for profit so this is the spend on top of the NRL grant. |
Must have had a micro sleep on the way. 3 cars , what a dumb arseHe was charged with high-range drink driving (0.253 = 15+ drinks) and property damage (he collided with 3 cars). It's definitely worth of summary dismissal.
What a freakin idiot. These journos are always critical of players behaviour, they are no different! He was charged with high-range drink driving (0.253 = 15+ drinks) and property damage (he collided with 3 cars). It's definitely worth of summary dismissal.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Not for profit simply means the profits are for some public benefit or used to grow the organisation for its stated public benefit. In our case they donate to sports teams. They cannot distribute dividends to the owners for example. A Pty Ltd can be a non profit. They just need to register as a NFP.This is where I'm confused cause on the HBG website it says they took over Wests Ashfield Ltd. Wouldn't that mean it's a business and not a community not for profit club. Sorry i don't get any of that business stuff.

Your question perked my interest so I did a bit of digging and this is what I found. The sources are from all over the shop so it may not be comparing apples with apples, but if you look at what they generate and what's contibuted it is significantly more that our staff are playing with so we are definitely doing it on the skinny.
