yes. Godinet is a player you build an edge around. within a couple years he'll be banging down the door, to the point where Sammy could well move back to the middle to accommodate him.

there's a lot of depth in the backrow so he won't be blooded early, but he is every chance of pushing thru and earning it.

The crazy thing about our fans is we think we are going to sign gun after gun. We need to strengthen the NSW cup and picking up former first graders that have injury issues or were fringe first graders is good practice as long as it doesn't block a junior's pathway. We do not want to be losing horribly in NSW Cup every week, playing only juniors. They need role models etc.

I don't know a lot about herbert but if he brings energy, work ethic and a willingness to sacrifice for another potential shot im for it. Bunty is the same probs doesn't play 1s alot but is a handy fringe player that can provide a bit for us and strengthen NSW cup.

He’s also more prototypical of the new type of edge forward isn’t he JR . Like a Hudson young type ? I think if the bulldogs win the premiership with a smaller pack or even the raiders , there will be a shift in what qualifies as prototype! Right now you’d say it’s Kikau , maybe Fifita in form , but yea I cna see a shift.

It was a bold decision to let Sandon Smith go to the Knights. He slotted into his role with the minimum of fuss and will be a good buy for the Knights. The Knight's cap must be tight.
