Geez. Thats horrible. Hopefully he'll be back.
Don't want to give the storm a leg up, but given the breach in the duty of care, they should get that back into their cap.

Surely heads will roll. I saw the warm up incident and thought he’s out for sure. Then he played and copped a couple more head hits.
After what has happened, really he should never be playing again. Too high of a risk of brain damage or worse.
Just terrible all around. Hopefully those who allowed him to play also get decent bans as well.

Tavana and Taotua need to earn their spots, not be given it to them on a silver platter. Competition for places where the best man wins is how successful sides are built

Taylan May played 5 game’s last year. He is essentially a marquee centre signing for 26, KPP is a good pick up, plenty of improvement in the depth department. Last year we had about 20 players to call upon for the whole season.
There is cash for another marquee but the market is very thin. Perth has signed no one of note yet. I trust richo to deliver

Rather have a proven middle...a better 9 sub than Hope..and contingent on Bulas decision..a 2026 ready full back..plus a nrl ready 13
Any of these will add immediate impact which we need to get off the bottom rungs of the ladder
This bloke,Geyer ,Madden Panthers no 4 fullback and most others we've recruited except KPP and maybe Bunty are the fish John West rejects..and from much better coaching structures than wts

Me to thought has gone into these recruits, a nice change from the bad old days.
It's good to see the holes being plugged with Richo it will take a while but we will get there slowly.

True but method to the madness, needed 2RF's did it, needed some more grunt added some, probably could use one more but still some time.

The Katoa situation is brutal. A couple of points that serve as reminders
- For anyone complaining how soft the game has become, it’s for reasons like this. Once upon a time, no one would have bettered an eye at him actually playing. Protocols are in place now to prevent it. I’m not sure who dropped the ball here in not following them but someone should answer for it. I don’t like how soft the game has become either, but it’s a necessary evil for the game to exist in this day and age.
- I’ve said over and over that I don’t understand when players are so bla’ze during contract negotiations, saying things like “Im in no hurry” when things like this can happen at any moment. Your value can go from seven figures to zero in the blink of an eye. We’ve seen it with Dwyer, Tuiaki, Alex McKinnon, yet players turn a blind eye. Could you imagine if Katoa was in the middle of a contract tug-o-war where he’s being offered close to a million dollars? Suddenly he’s waking up the next day on skid row. I don’t get it.
