@Tigersmurf your right 3 are from the team that came last however, on paper at the start of the season they were predicted to finish ahead of us by most experts.

Don’t pay to much attention to where a team finish on the ladder. One of our biggest signing came from the storm and left as one of our worst ever. We lost two to the storm and they are likely to play the GF this year.

Look at the player, does he fill a hole in our roster, do our coaches have the ability to bring out the best in each player and can the coaches, players and management bring it all together.

Buy Scott because he is what we need and his off field issues can be addressed. Moylan is not as good as Marshall or Brooks and is too slow for fullback. I don't care if the Sharks kick in money, a bad buy is still bad.

The Roosters signed Tedesco from the team that came 15th, I think that signing turned out alright

you want players for first grade, you need to recruit from first grade sides.

picking from reserve grade and U20s will give you what you pay for more often than not.

we can't control someone's injuries/talent- we can change their attitude and help their self belief.

that's why curtis scott/jessie ramien would be a better fit for us than dugan/moylan

and let's not sign other team's reserve grade players with less than 10 match experience for NRL. it's a short in the dark that we can't afford anymore.

I don't care what happens in 2021, backload contracts until it comes out of their mouths but lets' please aim for top 6-8 finish in 2020.

That would be a great buy, but as Madge said, we can't talk to him officially until November 1, not that that stops any other club doing it, but they are the rules

Prior is the type of player we don't need. Workhorse, little impact, little aggression, no second phase off loads - sounds just like Twal, Eiso etc.
We need impact. We need aggression.
We need a clone of JWH, Taupau or similar. Anyone know where we can get one for $2.50 a season?
