Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I'm out

We lost 32/0 vs the Bulldogs who we should have made a showing against.

Andrew Webster called us a "practise run" when we vs'd the Warriors last week.

Our side has given up. I have given up. All kudos to the true believers, not knocking you and heck I respect you. Respect to all the fellow posters, this place rocked.
WT fans you rock.

I am signing out of the forum (don't know how long). I won't be back this year and likely for a while.

have fun.

More big athletes.

Play Roberts & KPP in the back row & Sam Fainu up front. Go sign up 2-3 big athletes- not just 108-115kg giants, but giants that can also move at some speed (even if it's only a straight line).

Let the 2 young halves cook.
We love recruiting short stocky guys that are also slow. Benji will get some more stocky slow bros in 🤦

Hell, when is the last time we actually produced a decent junior forward?

I feel ya mate, I don't even bother watching anymore.... I'll check on scores and get on here for a peek, but I just can't with this club anymore...

Our opponents regularly compress their defence to make it very hard for us the penetrate them through the middle, knowing we do not have the players with the ability to play expansive and hurt them on the edges or out wide.

Some teams are going to rack up mind boggling scores against us over the next couple of months. Records could be beaten, our mob have put the que in the rack and their spirit is broken.

The whole fan base need to take this approach

The players don't care yet the fans keep wasting time and money on them

Even though i still follow them i haven't watched a live game in 5 or 6 years i only watch replays once i know the score and i stopped being a member at that time as well

The club don't deserve supporters

We have been the worst performed club the last ten weeks after yet more turmoil that never seems to end and if it wasn't for such a great start to the year we would be on the way to another spoon

Luai's departure should have been announced at the end of the season. The playing group has been impacted by it. Luai was the face of a revitalised WTs. While the players are professional, the hit to team moral cannot be underestimated. Team first means exactly that, there are no individuals in a team. I feel sorry for Marshall because he is a loyal WTs' servant.

Our last 11 games since Luai was announced has seen us score 146 points and concede 390

Absolutely pitiful

Scoring 13 points per game and conceding 35

Getting harder to keep stretching out the Luai story … although I guess the continued insipid weekly performances of the team will always provide that angle …

In Caryannis and Read column today … apparently Luai’s early exit “threatens to have greater repercussions “ in respect of the Chiefs targeting Sam Fainu … you see apprently the Chiefs had a “secret pact “ that out of respect to Luai’s “standing “ that they wouldn’t target Tigers players … im actually quite confused because I’m very sure no such pact was mentioned previously by these 2… in fact it was the opposite that most of the recently re-signed group were going to be following him out the door ..

No mention in the article if PNG are interested in Latu as well , or even if they would entertain Manese to run the water .. they will both likely be left with us ..not sure how the other players families would feel about Manese living at the players compound..

Also no issues for Parramatta apparently with Luai there “recruiting” next season and Ryles is quoted as saying he has no problems
