I feel like this after every loss but like most tigers fans we keep coming back for more punishment
Never give up our time will come one day
Until then take care & enjoy the break

Twal been huge this year but also flogged within an inch of his life.

Tiny literally delayed surgery on his shoulder multiple times and was still our best defensive and offensive back.

Douzza is coming into his own and always looks threatening.

Kpp another amazing defensive and offensive player

API is our soul and shouldn't have to be at his age.

How anyone can have a crack at this group is beyond me. They all walk into nearly any squad anywhere.

Everyone else sure shoot away.

Yes we are bad but not every player is bad anyone you throw into this squad is going to look rough

I think your last sentence contradicts the rest of your post.

You've just argued that the majority of our starting side are players who'd walk into nearly any team and shouldn't even be part of the discussion around not trying or not being good enough. I'd also add Turuva to that list, and if we're counting Luai on quality and experience (not current form), that's nine of the 13 starting spots.

So if your assessment is accurate, why would "anyone you throw into this squad look rough"? It doesn't follow.

If we added three quality first-graders in 2027, we'd have almost the entire starting side made up of players you rate highly. That can't be the sort of team where a quality recruit would automatically look ordinary.

I think we simply tend to overrate a lot of our players. Once they put on a Tigers jersey, they somehow become better in our minds than they really are.

The reality is they're mostly just good first-graders. That's not turning on them, it's just an honest assessment of where they currently sit. Outside of Api, and Luai (on reputation rather than current form), none are anywhere near elite in their positions. They put in the effort and can be excellent on their day, but they're not consistent enough to be viewed in the way you've described.

(Doueihi is an odd exception. It's difficult to judge him too harshly when he's being asked to play a position that clearly isn't his.)

Problem is that they all have a good game here and there but aren’t consistent throughout the year. Majority of our players would be definitely make the bench at other sides. Api,Luai kpp,Sam and Taylan the only garunteed a chance of starting jumper. A couple of which we have been injured with losses piling up.
Bula plays like he looks running - just coasting. Never seems to take the game on but when we are winning looks great because he only needs to do his job.

Don't go let's share the pain and disappointment


It's crazy how the players have given up but not the fans


But the dogs game a new low I would rather have young kids with enthusiasm having a go then people who have given up

Given up on them self

Given up on the fans

Given up on the club

That's how I see 80 percent of the first grade team

No contradiction mate you if you add the few you added you still need a handful of decent players or your going to struggle. Add that to the fact we have barely had those guys on the field at the same time.

The truth is we don't have the depth and we lack additional quality. Those individuals have shown that they can play at a high level.

Your entitled to your opinion I think API is world class, I think tiny and Terrel are top 10 at their positions, I think samuela kpp are showing they could be as well.

I also think they are the best group of players we have had in years.

I also think that surround them with players that aren't 1st grade standard and they can only do so much.

My point is doesn't matter how many real good players you have of what surrounds them is not up to standard

Depends if we want to give the bulk of our NSW Cup team an opportunity to continue their impressive push towards the finals, or if we want to penalise players by making them play in our NRL team?
I can tell you one thing, Javon Andrews is the real deal and is improving each and every week.
We get plenty of criticism for our pathways and I am critical of letting too many good ones go, but whoever was responsible for getting Javon Andrews to the club has come up with a master stroke.
He is 💯 ready for NRL, but as good as he is, it will likely be too big of an ask to trigger our NRL team to start winning so maybe it’s not worth the heartache of playing him in our NRL team at the moment.
I rate Doueihi higher than most, I rate Latu Fainu very highly, I rate Galvin and I acknowledge what Luai has achieved, but Andrews has more potential than all of them.

I believe we need an elite prop alongside May for 2027 but if we were able to snag Fatialofa (who plays on the left side), I can't help but think Samuela could be dangerous as a lock. Big body, footwork at the line, passing game... Would allow Twal to go back to prop.

That being said, I love what Samiela and KPP are doing on the edges (when not injured). Probably better to go for a Moses Leota up front with Pole and Sione off the bench. But still, wouldn't say no to Kayliss...

As long as it’s a prop who doesn’t require touches on the last tackle like May, I’m happy
