Yes but imagine the hope & positivity it would immediately instil in the fan base. I would be more confident that Samuela would extend as they had a really good relationship apparently. It could be a Mielekamp & Barry O masterstroke if true.

As much as i would love Richo to come back i can't see it,he has already found out that HBG are lying snakes who will stab him the first chance they disagree with him and spread rumours to a select "few friends" that he is dishonest to try and gain support amongst the supporter base for their actions.
He will avoid us like a minefield.

Yes there is that view but he could see this as an opportunity to complete unfinished business & be a kind of FU to HBG at the same time.

Luai was the litmus test. The canary in the coal mine. If he had come here. lead us to finals, and stayed the 5 years, it would have been a watershed moment for this club. Instead, he comes here, plays like a busted arse, quits not even halfway through and ha seen the club stumble from drama to drama. What incentive do players like a Cleary have to ever come here? Doesn’t matter how much money we throw at them, it’s just not worth it. The only way forward is to focus on the juniors, keep the best ones, and start making the 8 regularly. That’s the only way the great players will ever consider us again.

It would take a special sort of person to come back and work with HBG again especially when they have blatantly lied about the circumstances to justify their actions.HBG are rotten to the core and constantly prove their incompetence.
I would give anything for Richo to come back and bring our club out of the mire with decent leadership however i just don't believe it will happen.
