Our big problem is we believe in local juniors.
How arrogant do you have to be to think you can build an elite NRL team out of local kids?
Yes Penrith did it, but they already had successful systems and processes in place. Theyve played in 8 GFs in the past 35 years. 20 finals series in their 40 year history. Our club can not compete with this and attempting to emulate them is never going to work.

Arrogance? - not the way I see it.
Desperation, no other options, spin, no clue, self sabotage, just rotten to the core or all of the above.

Definitely their 6 after DCE. This game shows two team first mentalities of halves playing in the centres because it’s best for the team!

Think the Lualili brothers deserved better.

Kitt, more chances and Luke, more time to develope, both looked talents despite being on the smaller side.

I didn't see anything overly special in either of them,
think they'll both fade into the bottom end of a squad for a few years then overseas or bust.
Too many limitations.

That try Luke scored at Cambo when he tapped and charged straight at them and dived head first at the line showed that he has the toughness, courage and confidence to make it. Develop that properly and you have another Mat Utai.
His brother never really got a fair go here. Be interesting to see how they go over the coming years.
