Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Im not convinced of that. His debut game last year he looked very strong. I think there was every chance he started the year in the NRL regardless of that trial.
Yeah I reckon that try sealed the deal. And although we can debate what might’ve happened one way or the other I think we can all agree he was not ready to face men of NRL calibre every week.

Very true. I admire the way he kept taking the hits though. He knew he was targeted and getting smashed, yet he didnt shy away from it. Thats the biggest sign for me that he will make it. He needs to be put in the lower grades now until he smashes the door down with consistent strong performances. If they now make him earn his spot by doing that, he will come back ready.

Playing centre was probably ill-advised. Should have started him on the wing in FG.

The injuries to the backline collectively ruined their form and cohesion.
could played off the bench instead of been a starter, yes he got some experiences, he was exposed in defense and his positional player on both sides of the ball showed that.

I've said it before but it really gave me the shits that none of the senior players were coming in with some push and shove to show they cared about him after he was consistently getting whacked.

Of course we rushed him. Hence why he played the majority of the season. 5 or 6 would have been fine though.
He was 18 going on to 19 rushed into the centre position. No NRL experience.
A very important position defence wise and put there out of necessity at the time. It failed big time.
His current form is poor, possibly a mental hangover.
In hindsight, the wrong decision.
Let's hope there were some lessons learnt so there's no repeats?

I thought he just re-signed. Definitely take him. He would be a great 6 for us as Javon develops. Or halfbacl, he is only 30 and playing the best footy of his life. Shack him up out west so he can do his pig hunting. Permission to fly home to NZ every bye week. Get him back to his 2nd home.
Easily the best 'Next Up' half in the game,
How we've missed him so many times is Stupidity Repeated.

Thats the story of the Wests Tigets isnt? We never run in to protect our team mates. Drives me mad.
Running in to protect our team mates 😂
Seriously once the punch rule came in there is no fear factor in the game anymore about getting smashed by anyone.
Push & Shove wow that really has them shaking in their boots.

Its about showing your team mate how you care. The Fainu's run in when its their brother in trouble, because they care. Your missing the point. Its not about knocking out the opposition player, its about showing your team mate you have his back.
