It’s yet another 50/50, but he has rapid speed including being very quick off the mark.
He is a tall lanky youngster who looks like he will be quite strongly built and he has good gane awareness and skill to go with it.
So he ticks plenty of potential quality player boxes.

Pretty much. More likely Suli Pole coming to us than Fonua going to the Storm imo but they don't speculate on that.

He won’t leave his mum in Melbourne. I believe he is the last kid at home. Haven’t seen enough of him to have an opinion on whether we should sign him but we would have to bring Mum Pole as well.

Definitely smaller than Campbell. I dont see Campbell as a small player. He probably os arpund Paps size to be fair. Paps looked a more powerful runner though. My guess is Attard about 5'10 and 78kg. I know Campbell is listed as 80kg, but at 6 foot I reckon he comfortably weighs more than 83 or 84kg

I have no doubt AD would have some very good games at 6. However i just cant get past how unnatural his ball playing is. All I want is 2 halves that open up opportunities for others for once. 2 years of Luai jumping around and AD fumbling his way through, both combining to destroy any hope Bula and the outside backs have, i just want to see how our players go with natural unselfish ball players. If AD can be ok at 6 outside Latu, then TMM would be twice as good. TMM has a very good running game as well, and he is a natural ball player and he is completely unselfish. I really see a Latu and TMM combo thriving. Doesn't matter to me which one Benji chooses to play 7.
Im preying Benji is looking into TMM. He is a class act on and off the field.

Is not the basic issue, as pretty well shown last few weeks with someone else in halves, is that Doueihi just doesn't often enough pass the ball, whether at 7 or 6. Our backline actually started working somewhat when they were actually getting ball. I don't think Doueihi should have a place in the halves in 27 but will his ego allow him to play elsewhere in team. Current example is no, and that was never tested as Benji folded.

Well someone has to go if we want to fit someone else in.
I think there is a chance a Latu at 7, Douehi at 6 combination goes real well, but it is far from certain.
It’s a bit like hoping for red or black on the roulette wheel.

Doubt Douehi would pass the ball any more at 6 than he has at 7 ,

Same. I was very surprised when I saw him in person. He has the talent, im confident of that. If he can find 5kg and not lose any elusiveness he is a chance.

Well only 2 local players from the local PNG comp have made the NRL previously …. Probably need a few years to ramp up thre local talent

No doubt TMM could bring plenty of quality and experience.
If we can get him at the right price and fit him in, he would be a fantastic addition to our playing squad.

I agree he definitely has talent.
But iff Attard is only around around 178cm you would ask the question has he got the game to be a better back up fullback than someone like Joash Papali’i who is supposedly available?
Joash has plenty of speed, footwork and unpredictability which is something we do not have much of within our current squad.

Yes, but not everyone is willing to sign for Wests Tigers at the right price.
The point being we are not that desperate that we need to pay big overs for a classy, but journeyman halve on the wrong side of 30.

What’s the right price then ?Probably wont get him on Bunty train and trial deal this time I assume… I don’t particularly think he is what we need ..but he will probably stay in NZ if he is getting paid like a depth guy ..

Daily Telegraph: WARRIORS CENTRE LOOKING FOR EXIT

Warriors centre Adam Pompey could be on the move after New Zealand granted him permission to speak to rival clubs.

It is understood a host of Super League clubs are circling Pompey who still has another 12 months left on his contract.

Pompey re-signed with the club for two seasons before the start of last year but has found himself in and out of first grade this year.

The Warriors have a stack of outside backs arriving next year including Grant Anderson (Broncos) and Will Warbrick (Melbourne).

Pompey, 28, is free to go while veteran, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is off to Super League club Wakefield Trinity.

Surely he’s worth around 400 - 450k to us?
If we could get him for that type of money I would sign him for 2 years as he is a very intelligent and classy player.
It would create plenty of competition for halves positions, but that is much better than having limited options.
