Great news about Samuela.

Not so great that nuffie, Heighnington, is considered the “right hand man” and even worse “a link between the coach and his players”.

If only he had picked up the bloody ball up from that scrum 😀.

I’m really excited by Crawley coming in as Pathways Director. very well credentialed and experienced coach that doesn’t come from the usual Melbourne and Eastern Suburbs coaching trees or from the 05 clan.

got proper pathways experience too. knows what it takes to identify and develop players.

Yep, Samuela was probably the key piece, but Pole is a similarly quickly improving youngster and a major piece of the WT future puzzle as they continue to mature.

Herbert is top 30 next season, good luck demoting him to a KOE contract, Hunt is top 30 next year as well.

Bunty it's been very quiet, I think we should keep him around on some kind of deal.

Maybe, and I want Latu to stay, though as the quoted column and the @jrtiger post pertained to retention, the injury concerns around the younger brother make Samuela the key piece.

Agree. Samuela great, Heighington somewhat laughable. No public verifiable info on his worth and what he has done. I think there is a comment somewhere that Morris was the sacrificial lamb. Sure looks like it unless either Heighington or Hodgson are tapped on the shoulder but it's getting late for that.

Cannot believe they shafted Morris, his knowledge and experience was light years ahead of hodgo and as the attack coach this year our attack was diabolical…

Agreed, bunty can match the physicality of almost any pack when he is on,, never gets dominated and hits hard and sticks, he’s a good prop
