If true about LM I’m ok with it. Million dollar contracts are becoming commonplace nowadays for decent rep players. I sit back and think about players on our roster on over-priced contracts and then a young Mitchell who can be a match winner - it’s a no-brainer.

Geez the Roosters were offering him $800k in a team of stars! There are people on here who would criticise our management for any signing whatever but if we had Mitchell this year we would’ve played finals football. Nuff said!

Its a romantic notion that Maguire calls all the shots. Real 1970's stuff.

We set structures in place with quality people like Pascoe and Hartigan to help run the club. Looks like that might be exactly what they are doing.

Anyone thinking they are doing something without Maguires knowledge is stuck in that 1970's way of thinking. Modern football clubs are run like this.

I haven't seen anyone from the Tigers quoted anywhere about Mitchell. Perhaps you could point me in the direction of the comments you have seen?

100% if we sign both for 1.50m. We have big cap room following and they will help attract players.
Not 1.3m for Trell it’s nonsense.

We went through a season when we had one of the best packs in the game; Woods, Taupau, Sue, Gavet, Ava, Akaoula...all at their peak, but that fell apart quickly

Just can’t believe that Madge, Pascoe and the Board would sanction spending $1.3M of what’s available for next year on one player.
Now there was some talk of the Roosters contributing a low % and there is a 3rd part agreement there somewhere etc. Etc. And if that all adds up and leaves us with a cap bill reasonably below $1M then perhaps that’s something that could fly ..... but other than that .... It’s not for me.
