We didn't have the $ freed up for DWZ at the time, he made a comment about how highly he rated Maguire & how it was a tough decision that needed to me made at the time. He would have started training for us come Monday if he was in the same situation he was in at Penrith when Ivan had him playing reggies, Dylan Edwards was playing horribly he left shortly after if I recall. As far as the COE is concerned, I think ours will match Penriths if not better it when it comes to all-round facilities & amenities you'll be happy to know

I agree we didnt have the free $$ at the time of his irginal signature with Dogs but he re-signed with them recently for a further 2 years. No pull factor there no matter how much intent there was originally- even noting this happened beofre the Mitchell opportunity. We could have promised the fullback position there too- no doubt much cheaper than LM.

@2005magic Matto got a release 6 days before the extension and Matulino's retirement verdict was still pending at the time. Our hands were tied either way

I have a good mate who is a member at Roosters and good contacts. FWIW he is happy to see the back of LM and highly rates Tetevano.

For mine I dont want Tetevano, no matter how good he is. Cant bring my partner & daughter in good faith to cheer him on.

Souffs or Penrith will be a good culture fit for Tetevano. I am probably on my own but I'd rather come 9th again than compromise principles.

With all these signings across the grades, though the club is still to confirm any (given Walters eons ago!), can anyone actually work out who has been maybe signed for what grade, like Top 30, Canterbury Cup, Flegg etc??

I'm trying to get my head around the strength of our club going forward to where we were in 2019.

At this point in time we are weaker in relation to the roster.

Putting aside all the talk, speculation and forum posts that allude to knowing stuff, we are about to begin preseason training and have lost one of the best versatile back rowers in the game, a world class prop and a young centre of 1st grade standard. We also have lost our hooker for the 2020 season. We have signed a reserve grader who has played one (maybe a few more?) first grade game.

This is how we roll. Yes I’m impatient but there really does need to be some significant announcements soon.

I continue to believe in Pascoe and Madge so am hopeful of some significant signings but geez it’s hard work waiting for the wheels of change to turn!

@Tiger_Steve Spot on mate... I say the same and get the don't be impatience etc.. I really wish it didn't bother me but the longer we wait the less quality available 😛ray: If we fill our remaining positions with reserve graders to replace those 3 we are in big big trouble

o.k my son went to a bbq with a number of 1st grade players today, now this is just what they said is happening, cant confirm anything just letting every one know maybe whats going on. 1st LM was not offered $800 it was more like $650 by the chooks. they are sure he will not be at the tigers. they said tigers are certain to get sami and leleui from the dragons. just passing on what was said cant confirm anything just passing on the goss.

There will be because there has to be. Only 25 spots are filled on the roster. We’ll be signing players from somewhere. It will happen when it happens

Obviously we didn't blow his socks of with our pitch or he wouldn't jumped on it.
If we don't land him don't buy anyone on big bucks and wait til end of 2020 season to start a shopping spree.

The fact that he wasn't offered $800K by roosters is superfluous. What's more important is why are the tigers' players so sure that Mitchell won't be going to the Tigers?
