Yes...prefer this off season 10x than last....

Even if just for the fact that all our long contracted overpaid players are a year closer to being off the books. A couple of months until kickoff, money in the kitty and at least two spots to fill, so still enjoying the Ferris Wheel ride.

Well the stats are impressive and hard to argue against. But from what I watch on a weekly basis we need impact and intimidation in our forward pack. We need a leader. I think a fit Packer can do this. I watch eisenhuth and I see plodder.

And if we get 15 tackles and 40m a game from Packer ..i'll take the plodder..

It’s a win win for everyone I would think:

Knowing Melbourne have lost Chambers, Scott, Vunivalu (2021) and JAC pending they would definitely want a representative back

Souths desperately need forwards otherwise there’s no chance they win the premiership

We need X factor and try scoring abilities

Two ways of looking at the SImpkin issue. He is that good he demands a place in the 30 or despite having all this money to spend, we cannot fill our spots with quality recruits.

Masters was dreadful last year. Absolutely dreadful. Momo, Talau, Mbye are all better centres, and Momo is a better kicker.

According to Justin Pascoe, we need only 2 signings before end of March. On 28/11 we dropped off Mitchell to focus on JAC.
Considering that JAC & AJ are those 2. IMO.
