Great signing Leilua, pass on AD and go hard for JAC now

I think we could use AD as much as JAC. I also think we need to be careful in relation to signings.

Do we need a winger desperately ? I don't think so. I reckon Nofo, CT, Jennings and even Momo can cover that position.

I'd love us to get a gun fullback. I doubt AD is a gun fullback but maybe he could be a decent fullback and potentially a good 6 when Benji retires.

I'd stick with CT at fullback for now and look to spend big money on a gun fullback 2021/2022. I think he'll be much better at fullback this year and spending 600k on Douehi would be a mistake imo. Better value with Corey on 200-250k

If Benji retires at the end of 2020 we have Mbye, Reynolds, Walters and Madden who can play 6. I just see Douehi as an okay signing who can play 1 or 6 and we have a few of those types already


Where did you get $600 k for Doueihi? I’ve heard Tigers are having second thoughts at $350k? This is in msm.


he is on $550 next year and %600 the year after. He wants 4 x $600 from Tigers. The $350 you saw is his cost to us for year 1 after you deduct what souffs have/will pay him. The problem with Doueihi isnt $350 for this year its 3 more years at $600.

It's a crazy contract if true.

I don't think you should use Milford and "Gun" in the same sentence.

I hear this ‘plan’ argument a lot and I agree - Madge has a plan and I believe he knows what he’s doing. But don’t lose sight of the fact that both Madge and Pascoe Have stated that missing the top 8 is failure and thus part of the plan now is making the top 8. Not 2021, but now!

The key to making sure Stefano doesn't want to back flip is winning over the family. Show the love! Find out younger relatives birthdays and give a signed tigers jersey, send his mum some flowers for her birthday or mothers day, offer some season tickets. Show the club cares about their players and their families. Little things will go a long way with people, further than an extra bit of salary.

Everyone can ark up about Eels and Stefano, but nobody seemed to have a problem with it when Tigers talked Tedesco into backflipping on Raiders.

Contracts work only when you are prepared to enforce your rights. It's when you don't that you lose any legal leverage. We should make it clear to Parramatta that we will haul them into court if they try to induce Stefano to breach his contract with our club.
