I don't know about anyone else but our outside backs didn't fill me with any excitement at the 9's

But 9's is a different game ......we seemed to be playing almost to a set game plan

Our backs aren’t exactly game breakers. We’re definitely a team more suited for 13 a side. The dragons killed it but most of those small quick players they have aren’t gonna be nearly as good in regular footy. Close to the line our back line will do good work.

I would seriously get Drinkwater to play fb in 2021 and onwards. Hopefully Val holmes does just enough to keep him out of the position and we can swoop.

Kid is a talent!!!

He could be our 6 also, cows have Holmes at 1, then have Clifford and Morgan in the halves, someone has to move position or clubs

He will be lucky to be picked at centre. Leilua and Mbye will be first picked. The only way Momo is in with a shot is if Mbye has to play 9.

This is the way I see the situation as well. Momo is playing pretty well but he is being judged as a new player coming into first grade with no hype. Mbye is being judged as a million dollar player. I think if you look at their performances and not the dollar signs Mbye is by far the better player.

Momirovski looks bigger , stronger, faster than last year. Love what I'm seeing of him in the 9's. Don't let him slip away!!!

He looked slower to me TBH. I wouldn't have him starting the season due to that.

Neither do I. I don’t see the appeal. Not fast, doesn’t really bust tackles. Can’t see him in the 17.

But he manages to score tries easier than anyone else in the team.

Yep. Where do you want to start? Should we start with 8 tries is a ridiculously low amount of tries to start hyping a bloke as "***the best try scorer in the team***" (in a team that contains Benji 82, Lawrence, 84 or Nofo 57) or start with how ridiculous it is to hype a bloke who has only played 11 games for us and 13 in his life.

Kid is a first grader no doubt but the hype is ridiculous. He is definitely not first centre picked and would be lucky to get picked at centre at all. Will have to beat Mbye and Talau to get it. He might and I hope he goes onto great things.

At this stage - he is twice the centre of Talau and Mbye is not a centre by any stretch of the immagination, he isn't anything - a typical player that can play a number of positions and not be great at any of them.

Come back to me when you work out when Benji, Rowdy or Nofo scored 8 tries in 11 games. Forget how many tries they scored or how many games they have played. Just answer t he question.

He will be lucky to be picked at centre. Leilua and Mbye will be first picked. The only way Momo is in with a shot is if Mbye has to play 9.

The only way Mbye will get the centre spot is because Momo is injured. Lucky Mbye.

Sorry Russ but that’s not true. Mbye is a far better centre. Faster, more skilful, better defender. Momo was never getting the centre spot ahead of him.

This is why the trade works for everyone. We need a 9 and they need some outside backs. It doesn't mean that Momo won't end up our first grade centre in a couple of years time.

All off season we have given it to out recruitment team and they come through with flying colours.. Brought very well, not overpaid, resigned most if not all the correct players we want, picked up great juniors so if true and they offered RJ to Roosters than I am for it as they clearly have something in the works.

Time to trust the process. Very excited about the direction we are going.

Based on what I’ve seen I’m happy if our starting wingers are Thomo and Jennings but it early days there are trials to play.
