interesting nobody will swap Nofo with us .... why coz he is average defensively

Even more interesting that he's not on the market to swap..

Perhaps he should be - transfer to ESL with Reynolds.

Yeah because it's that easy.

Are Nofoaluma and Lawrence the only Campbelltown juniors in the NRL team?

Yes they are, and Brooks is the only Balmain junior in the team.

At present with Doueihi set to return and Seyfarth progressing.

Yes good point.

If Sharks do end up having to shed a player due to cap reasons or if they go bad this year and players want out, Ronaldo Mulitalo would be a fantastic signing to get.

A winger/centre with genuine pace, plays at 110% every single game, is strong and a good finisher too. Sharks will try their best to keep him but he’s a future star.

If the offer of RJ to Roosters is real maybe it’s so that Simpkin can be elevated to top 30 and still keep a spot open

That would be a good move, Simpkin will be the long term 9, good to get him some game time

If we were to release Jennings it would be because there's a junior not currently on an nrl contract that will get promoted and can provide adequate cover for the NRL squad, but we don't want to use our 30th spot on them in case there's a mid season bargain.

Not sure. But for someone who harps on about losing our juniors, it's funny you're advocating sending one overseas.

The immediate question that comes to mind is why he outlasted Korobeite and JAC who imo are far superior wingers. Why is that? Was our talent identification and retention that poor that we failed to see this or, was there another issue at play?

But but but he's a juniorrrrrrrrrr...

So is Papenhuyzen, Doueihi and Tatoloa et al.

hindsight is a beautiful thing.

They were not, when they left.

Hindsight is an excuse for not having the retention/identification systems in the joint to make the correct decisions.

Korobeite and JAC always had much higher ceilings than Nofoaluma
If we need confirmation just ask Bellamy. Their careers have confirmed this fact. Blinding pace and strength provides you with options you don't have with a winger who is strong but lacks genuine pace over the 100 metres.

So we have a Maserati at 5/8 and his accomplice at 7 who is no slouch himself tethered to a pop gun outside back instead of two v12 speed merchants who were ours. We've struggled ever since to field decent wing combinations.

Anyone know what’s going on with Eisenthuth? Saw a pic of his Instagram with a pic of a SL ball.

Also the ball they use in rugby Union. In the European comp.

Got my hopes up.

Looks like Eisenhuth is off to union. Posted a photo of a union ball with the caption ‘it’s time #newbeginnings’ before quickly deleting it. Wouldn’t surprise me as he’s probably not gonna play first grade this year

Edit: just to note I didn’t see this myself it was posted on Twitter. Could be fake but I don’t see why someone would fake it

Yeah agree and his speed will fit right in with Union too.

Hes much more suited to it. Doesn’t need to do much in attack but a great defender. Did very well to even play first grade with all his health issues.

Would be strange and probably not wise to let him go for 2020. He might not be the most dynamic player but he can hold his own in 1st grade and Is a good depth player.

Unless we have someone else lined up?

He's worse than Heinington imo.
Big for nothing.
Seems like a nice guy.

Completely non threatening and very timid.
Slow strides, doesnt dent the line.

His spot in the 30 is better invested elsewhere.

Wests Tigers may lose a little on this deal but I think that it will be well worth it because it iwill result into a straight swap for an upcoming, capable hooker into our top 17.

Don’t really disagree with anything you’ve said. If we have someone to bring in to the top 30 then so be it.

Could be someone like Joey Ratu who takes his spot - maybe even Waita Setu.

I don't think either of those are an upgrade.
All 3 depth players/reggies.

We're making good moves.
Need a roster overhaul tho and identify better players for our 17...

These guys are fine for cup.

Eisenhuth is a cup player too, he’s not a first grader, at least Joey Ratu is 21 and can still improve plenty, Eiso looks like he’ll be around the same level the rest of his career. Ratu finished last year strongly and if he’s training well is a better option than Eiso for the future
