I really hope he gets over all his injuries and has a long career but we can't afford to hope that happens or even think that a fit Liddle is the answer at 9.
Walters looks ok with ball in hand but I doubt he'll handle the defensive load for all that long.

Correct, I was referring to Simpkin, if we get Grant to fill the hole this year, we will be right

It is no secret Turpin is not the hooker the Bronco's are shopping around, although I don't think it will be a priority with a story about to break from there in the next week or so. Hopefully the Tigers will hold off on anymore signings as I think there will be a lot of movement before June 30 .

What's the story?

Looks to me like Mbye will wear 9 in round 1, but who is the 9 this Saturday against the Panthers?

If the player swap goes through,then Grant comes in as our main hooker with Mbye around to cover that spot..I also think the delemour Madge has is how do we bring Simpkin in gradually to get the much needed NRL experience he needs to play at that level,and will Walters get much game time in the NRL as well,although he isn't a known hooker but more a 5/8...Reyonalds can possibly cover hooker and 5/8 if needed short term..seems we are in a reasonable good position with options this year...

I'll be amazed if the trade with Momo and Grant goes through ..when these things happen in the EPL a player might not play for 3 games because of the fear of injury to either player

broncos we could take macca, if its just for the year he brings the experience to an under experience forward pack, not the greatest player but i find this more achievable than turpin, plus its just one year. dont know if they need any forwards or backs though with players like coates probably in reserve grade at full strength
dragons any chance we could take luke before he even plays a game for the "mighty" red V, personally dont want him but again experience and more realistic to get him over mcinnes. young backs, forward pack not amazing by any stretch plus now without sims from the 9s (im assuming mcinnes will be fit)
rein or peats from titans? both capable players, although peats injury history is a concern but he was an origin player. the titans could be in need of some forwards?

yep thats what ive seen "reported" turpin to be starting hooker, dunno if he can go the 80 and not sure if glenn could cover the shortage to allow them to release macca or trade him. dont know what they would want from us for a trade though. dont want to sign him especially at the end of a career and what he would want year wise
