Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I would seriously target Ryan James! I know the poor bugger has had a rough run of injuries, but when he is on the park he pushes for SOO selection. Only for medium money and 3 years max

We've had no luck with paying top dollar for injury prone forwards....a few years ago for sure but nowadays I'm not so convinced about him.....

I would offer both Jack Bird and Ryan James small contracts and see if we get a nibble. I don't think either will get huge interest. By the end of 2020, both will have been out for close to 2 seasons now.

If we offer them low contracts and they take it, then great, if not nothing lost. But definitely not offering 400k plus. It was the same approach Sheens took when we couldn't sign anyone in 03, he went for talented guys who had been injured (EG - Prince, Hodgson, Richards). I wouldn't be paying much, buts its worth an enquiry.

A 30 year old who's had 3 ACLs? That's who you want to sign?

The answer is no.

I’m sure it’s cos he’d be cheap

The way things are panning out, throw away the past history of transfers etc.
We might be going into commercial footy as we've never known before.
The past is yesterday and gone - our tomorrows are a whole new ball game, maybe.

So Suli wants to leave the club that basically put him in prime form the last year.......

If he's finally woken up that he has to train as hard as everyone else he'll be a great buy.
Big question is if it was just Des capable of getting it from him.

i don't think Suli was on much money after all the crap he pulled at the tigers; dogs

manly must have snapped him up cheap, he picked up some form and generated interest and legged it...

Blake Green says hi

From Google:
Blake Green is an Australian rugby league footballer who plays as a five-eighth for the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL. Now at the **eighth** professional club of his career, Green is regarded as **somewhat of a journeyman**.
:flushed:
Most games he's played for a club is 50...and that's for storm.....not that much....he has been at 8 clubs tho
