With the back and forth between Broncos and Titans for David Fifita, there is surely an opportunity to raid one or two of the Bronco's players as they can only stump up $700k of the Titans $1.25m offer.
I wonder if the club has made enquiries to 'help' the Broncos out

Herbie Farnsworth is the go. He is quick , light on his feet , and wouldn’t cost much

Off contract end of next year, can talk to him in November with all the reports Brisbane have no cap money and with Fifita only willing to sign a 1 year extension so the circus will go on for another year they’d be very tight on $

As they’re also breeding outside backs from everywhere and also need some money for some playmakers I’d throw a healthy deal to Staggs and get him from under there nose - I think he’ll be the best centre in the game within the next few years I really do

Nofo is having a great season. Scoring tries and generally doing everything Madge has asked of him. He has some defensive issues for sure (most players have a few) but overall he gets the job done every week and his passion for WT is obvious.

Not at all. But they don’t have to grind their ax every chance they get. Maybe you’ll move on once Jennings is gone, which won’t be long.

Jennings has nothing to do with it mate. He doesnt make Nofo miss tackles and make bad reads etc
unlike the blind hatred for Jennings from some on here he has faults like god forbid Nofo does too
Love nothing more than Nofo to prove me wrong and smash out a awesome year but i think we can upgrade for the money spent.

It just seem strange as we seem to be a club that is tight lipped now... No leaks coming out
There is a lot of rumours going around and Dogs , Dragons & Titans seem to be linked to most players. We released Cory about 3 weeks ago and we are clearly short of backs now so why have we not done something about it and signed someone ?? Did a signing fall through or are we waiting on the player to get a release.. Seem strange we let a great back up player out with no replacement

No rumours is a good thing there’s no need for internal affairs at the club being leaked out

We got very unlucky with Jennings getting a long term injury and Joey being suspended. Club did Corey a favour by releasing him

If we have no one lined up then maybe we need to stop being nice guys all the time and keep players like Corey. He would have been very handy atm.

Its a business...its not about "doing Favors".Now were caught short

We already have a player like Nofa at the club on the same level as those players many supporters would agree I feel and also the fact he WANTS to be at the club and has proved to be one our best players this year and shows more heart in every game he plays with his dirty runs from our goal line and ability to beat a number of tackles, and the man can also find the try line easily - (one of my greatest fan moments was when the club was in a rock bottom period I think during the Jason Taylor vs Farah days and he scored in the corner with just pure grit while others weren’t even showing any effort at all (cough... Mitchell Moses) and he got up and went straight to the camera and kissed the badge and went ballistic and fired everyone up including myself in a game where no one turned up besides himself and probably teddy lol)

You speak about NSW origin wingers but statically he should be one of the first wingers selected if NSW were picking the team today, we need one winger I agree, however I wouldn’t swap Nofa for anyone bc you can teach skill and he has plenty regardless, but you can’t teach the heart and passion he possesses to have the combination of being skill full and also being legitimately passionate about your club is as valuable as anything and that’s what truely wins premierships

There’s other areas we can spend that money which would be way more beneficial to the club

I have been a vocal critic of Nofa, but this year he is really performing. Our leading tryscorer and would have to be leading on run metres as well. He is doing a great job of getting us out of our own end with some really hard dirty runs. Nofa is not a weakness at the moment and it seems that the defence has been tightened up on his edge as well.

If Nofa keeps up this level of performance, we can concentrate on fixing the other wing and for now Talau is doing a good job there as well.

IMO wing isnt a position you want to be having to concentrate on when rebuilding a roster and prioritising cap $$$

Do you really want to spend that cash on 2 wingers??
Is that really our burning issue??

Prefer to spend it on halves, centers and forwards including a hooker for next year - those are major issues for us.

Nofo cops it but he is in the top 10 winger class in the NRL. We don’t need 2 new wingers we need 1.

That’s what I’m thinking, hopefully second row or our props. We have depth in our back line for next year but would like some rep level players there. We really need second rowers and we also might be waiting to see what JAC does.

Luciano is a good start. Garner not playing to the level he did last year, would like him on the bench and to sign a strike second rower for our right edge, someone who can have big impact but may not play big minutes like how Kikau does
