That’s not a direct quote - fox sports actually changed the headline because it was wrong. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s true though

Elliot and CHN would be starters in our side,Sue as a backup like someone said is better value then Clark,and Meaney is a speedy fullback being played on the wing

I think Elliot is a ball hog, Sue is nowhere near as good as Clark and that is while he is conscious, Meany I like but too small, might as well have kept Thommo.

CHN seems ok but I am yet to be convinced.

A lot of people saying Meaney is too small, he is taller and heavier than Papenhyzen, I don't get it

Very few players can make it at that size. How many other fullbacks or wingers are Pap’s size and are top shelf players.

With exception of Ponga who is 92kg, the rest are not current players which proves my point.

There is a few handy players in this lot as well
And some are smaller and lighter then Meaney
Sometimes you just have to give them a go
No like us with paps and carr

We are talking about wingers and full backs and you come back with 2 hookers and 4 halves.

Just showing small players can make it
What about McGuiness and Utai
Langer,
Toovey best tackler pound for pound

Point is you can't judge a player on size alone
They either have something special or they don't
To suggest a player is to small for wing is one dimensional
You have to take all other factors into account
Tackling ability
Top Speed
Speed of the mark
Endurance
Brain matter (when to come in and shut down a play)
How high they can jump
How evasive a player is
Acrobatic skills
Passing game
Ball control

Some of these skills you are more likely to find in a smaller player

I am in the minority but I like Blair, he hardly ever gets hurt, puts plenty of pressure on the halves and plays 80 minutes most weeks, he gets a lot of unfair criticism in my opinion, but I wouldn't bring him back

He was an origin level player before getting banned

Agreed but he was pretty ordinary consistently. I reckon he was massively overrated.

I would think it would be a loan similar to the roosters to warriors one - send him there for the season but if we have injuries and need him we could call him back.

If he smashes it on the weekend we should hold onto him for sure though.

He didn’t do a lot at WT after signing on big money, but sure the club should share some of that criticism because he’s not Robinson Caruso.

It's hard to believe we would pick him in the starting side this week and release him next week. Doesn't make sense.
