Mbye has been outstanding at centre for us. Would be a loss for sure. He is just what the titans need with his origin experience and maturity. Great ball player

SBW pulls a $10m contract with the wolves, pulls the kids out of school, travels the globe to take up a $400k contract with the Chooks, who actually had just enough cap space for the deal to proceed with full support and encouragement from the nrl? What’s the missing piece of the puzzle?

I know he’s a great guy and everyone likes them, they hit targets and is consistent, but are they really going to help you get your goals next year.

After some thought, they were right, I got rid of them

Momo is one of those players for us

In terms of halves, there is no rush given we have Reynolds, Brooks, Mbye, Walters, and Madden contracted next year. Possibly Benji as well. It would be a waste of salary cap to sign another one. Even Talau played his juniors at 5/8.

None of the off contract halves are any better than what we already have. Every time I've seen Madden play I've been impressed, not so much by his defence though.

I'd wait until next year to sign a half when Burton, Luai, Keary are all off contract.

We have very talented halves in our 20s plus Madden. **Either way, bring Laurie Daley in to mentor them.** Gould previously spoke about a halves school due to the lack of quality. We have some but we need to accelerate their development.

We tried that remember? The powers that be wouldn't let us.

That’s why we need a new kicker, 68% in 2019 not good enough.

We can do much better.

Wouldn’t surprise me if we let Mbye move on. Over the next year or two we will have Talau, Hoffman and the kid from the Roosters all gunning for spots in the backline. I doubt there will be a place for him. I doubt Madge would want to play him in the halves.

Momirovski is a very good footballer on a low contract. Ideal player to compete for backline spots and depth. Wouldn’t make any sense to not keep a solid player on a cheap deal. Issue with Mbye is the contract he’d be a great utility as a 14. He has skills and versatility .
